WHAT’S NEW IN 2012?

The Boston Jewish Film Festival is pleased to welcome our new Artistic Director, Amy Geller. We are debuting many films by up-and-coming directors. Our Festival is filled with trailblazing features from first-time directors, such as Tamar Tal (Life in Stills), Maya Kenig (Off White Lies), Sharon Bar-Ziv (Room 514), and Lior Har-Lev (We Are Not Alone). We are welcoming innovative films from vanguard directors. Roberta Grossman (Blessed is the Match, 2008) returns with our entertaining closing night film Hava Nagila, while Argentinean director Daniel Burman (The Empty Nest, 2009; Family Law, 2006; Lost Embrace, 2004) continues his comedic streak with All In. French director Alain Tasma (Fracture, 2011) tries his hand with We are meeting the third generation the coming-of-age drama Emma. of Holocaust survivors.
