No. 2 UTAH is set to host the inaugural event and looks forward to add- ing to an already storied tradition that includes 10 national championships. No. 3 OREGON STATE will be looking to defend its 2011 Conference crown behind the leadership of reigning Pac-10 Coach of the Year, Tanya Chaplin, and Pac-10 Gymnast of the Year, Leslie Mak. STANFORD is seeded fourth and rounds out the !eld competing in the eve- ning session of Saturday’s Championships. No. 5 seed ARIZONA and sixth-seeded WASHINGTON are the top two seeds competing in the afternoon session. Both squads are riding impressive win streaks heading into the Championships, and !gure to be major factors in the compe- tition. Rounding out the !eld are the No. 7 and 8 seeds, ARIZONA STATE and CALIFORNIA, who will look to continue to build upon the tremendous strides each team has made this season.
