Snowy-Tumut Power generation – the Development journey of water

Water from the Upper Murrumbidgee, Tooma power stations and Eucumbene is collected and diverted from Lake Eucumbene through an underground tunnel system to Tumut Pond . Water from 5 Tumut Pond flows through Tumut 1 and Tumut 2 generating underground power stations, before arriving at the Talbingo . Water stored in Talbingo units Reservoir then passes through the Tumut 3 16 and into Jounama Pondage.
