The County Council (Forest Hall Road, Stansted Mountfitchet) (Restricted Road & 40MPH Speed Limit) Order 201*

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 81, 82(2), 83(2), 84(1) and (2), and Part III of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: 1. To extend the existing 40MPH speed limit on the following length of Forest Hall Road, Stansted in the District of as specified: Road Description Forest Hall Road, From the existing 40MPH speed limit located at a point approximately Stansted 90 metres south east from its junction with the B1383 Stansted Road, south east for a distance of approximately 282 metres.

2. To introduce a 40MPH speed limit on the following length of Forest Hall Road, Stansted in the District of Uttlesford as specified (the road is currently derestricted): Road Description Forest Hall Road, From a point approximately 55 metres east of its junction with Walson Stansted Way, east for a distance of approximately 315 metres.

3. To extend the existing 30MPH speed limit by virtue of street lighting on the following length of Forest Hall Road, Stansted in the District of Uttlesford as specified: Road Description Forest Hall Road, From a point approximately 372 metres south east of its junction with Stansted B1383 Stansted Road, east for a distance of approximately 433 metres to the existing 30MPH by virtue of street lighting.
