: AH Supportive Housing Program

HAVEN, AH's Supportive Housing Program, provides those experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless with stable housing, intensive case management and supportive services to address individual needs.

These programs serve several different populations, including:  Individuals and families;  persons with physical, mental, or developmental disabilities;  U.S. military veterans;  families separated due to a lack of housing;  youth aging out of foster care;  other target groups .

Supportive Housing Program Program Description Type Sponsored & Tenant-Based (TBSH) HUD program administered by public housing agencies (PHAs) in partnership with Public Child Welfare Agencies (PCWAs) where Housing Choice Family Unification Program Vouchers (HCVs) are provided to: (Housing Choice FUP) 1) Families for whom the lack of adequate housing is a primary factor, or; 2) Youth, ages 18-21, who left foster care at age 16 or older and lack adequate housing. HUD program for homeless veterans that combines a Veterans Affairs Supportive tenant-based voucher with case management and Housing (VASH) clinical services provided by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Tenant-Based program in conjunction with the City of Atlanta and the Continuum of Care (CoC) for formerly FLOW Pilot chronically homeless residents of Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) who no longer need intensive support services.

Public Housing Through revitalization of former Harris Homes and in partnership with Integral, AH's development partner, The Gardens at CollegeTown provides housing assistance, case management and intensive, comprehensive on-site support services to residents with mental or developmental disabilities. Project Based Rental Assistance (PBRA) AH partners with private and faith-based property owners to serve and provide on-site support and case management services for at-risk populations, to include homeless or formerly homeless families, adults, seniors, youth, and veterans, and persons with mental or developmental disabilities.
