Reno and Cincinnati are the only clubs to win 50 matches through three seasons, and Reno did so with a +75 goal differential to Cincinnati’s +50. Reno is also one of just six teams to make the playoffs in each of their first three seasons. Only FCC, Reno, Louisville City, Swope Park Rangers, New York Red Bulls II and Sacramento Republic FC accomplished the feat. club records broken/tied in 2019: single season wins - 18 (previous record was 17 in 2017) single season road wins - 10 (previous record was eight) single season points - 60 (previous record was 59 in ‘17 and ‘18) Highest western conference finish - Second (best finish was third in 2017) individual goals - Corey Hertzog with 18 (ties Dane Kelly’s 18 from 2017) career year Forward Corey Hertzog finished the regular season with 18 goals. The total broke his career high of 14, set in 2017 with Pittsburgh. That year, Hertzog earned All-League second team honors. This season, Hertzog was named July’s Player of the Month and has been named to the Team of the Week three times. The 18 goals are the most in a season for Reno, tied with Dane Kelly’s 18 in 2017. Hertzog’s six assists on the season are also a career high, and tied for the fourth-most from a player in a single season in club history. a brick wall Reno’s keepers finished the 2019 regular season on a tear, posting shutouts in the last three matches. In the eight matches since the start of September, Reno has allowed just seven goals. On the season, Reno finished with nine shutouts. Five of the nine were from Matt Bersano and four were from JT Marcinkowski. Bersano and Marcinkowski are both in the top 30 in the USL in saves and clean sheets. Reno has had shutout streaks of three or more matches five times since the club’s inception in 2017. The club record is four consecutive shutouts, set in 2018. looking for more Reno won a playoff match for the first time in club history last season, topping Real Monarchs 1-0. The boys in blue will look to keep the momentum going as five players (Matt Bersano, Brent Richards, Seth Casiple, Lindo Mfeka and Thomas Janjigian) have been here for each the club’s three seasons. road warriors Reno has more wins (10) on the road
