(3) Reno will play in its first playoff match on Saturday when it hosts (6) OKC Energy FC in the West- ern Conference quarterfinals. Kickoff is slated for 5:25 p.m. at Greater Nevada Field. Reno’s run to the USL Cup Playoffs has been one of incredible resiliency. After the first month of play, Reno was at the bottom of the Western Conference table and had zero wins. But after the group of players from all different walks of life finally clicked, the team became the most potent attack in both the USL and all of U.S. Soccer during the regular season. Led by 2017 Golden Boot-winner Dane Kelly (18 goals this year), Reno scored 75 goals during the regular season jumping from last to a Top 4 spot. Finds like 2017 USL Assist Champion Chris Wehan (eight goals, 12 assists) and MLS veteran Antoine Hoppenot (12 goals, six assists) helped bolster a Reno attack that put up some of the highest scoring games this season. As the season progressed, more Reno stars started to emerged and the team soon became one of the deepest squads in the USL. Nearly every player in Reno’s Starting XI has scored a goal this year. During the regular season, Reno split the series with OKC 1-1. The first win came in OKC back on Aug. 2 after OKC won 1-0 against a Reno squad forced to play with 10-men. But Reno avenged that loss on Sept. 20 in the “Biggest Little City” after Lindo Mfeka’s hat-trick helped clinch a spot in the playoffs and write Reno into the history books for most goals in a USL regular season. That 3-0 was part of a week in which Reno scored nine goals and jumped to No. 1 in the USL Power Rankings. That was OKC’s last loss as the squad closed out the season winning four-straight matches. Led by 2013 Golden Boot co-winner Jose Angulo, the club has changed its scheme over the past month playing four in the back. While Angulo’s 15 goals and seven assists have proved vital, OKC’s defense has been better as the club has only allowed three goals while scored 13 during its four-match win streak. Gates for Saturday’s playoff match are slated to open at 4:25 p.m. and the first 1,868 fans will receive a free hand-clapper. 3 FRONT OFFICE Eric Edelstein Max Margulies President Account Executive - Corporate Sponsorships Andy Smith General Manager Regan Hahesy Corporate Sponsorships Andrew Daugherty Services Coordinator Executive Vice President Robert Ritchie Audrey Hill Account Executive Director of Marketing John Wermeling Doug Raftery Account Executive Sr. Director of Corporate Partner- ships Zoe Harmon Account Executive Samantha Hicks Vice President of Ticket Sales Stefan Bray Account Executive Aldo Amato Digital Media & PR Manager Jared Longland Creative Manager GREATER NEVADA FIELD 250 EVANS AVE RENO, NEVADA 89501 RENO1868FC.COM 4 MATCHDAY ROSTERS RenO 1868 F O Energy F ROSTER ROSTER # NAME POS HT WT AGE # NAMEBIRTHPLACE POS HT WT AGE BIRTHPLACE 0 Andrew Tarbell GK 6-3 194 23 USA 1 Cody Laurendi GK 6-3 235 - USA 1 Russ Klabough GK 6-5 215 26 USA 2 Richard Dixon D 5-10 175 - Jamaica M 5-10 165 20 USA 2 Jackson Yueill 3 Kyle Hyland D 5-7 165 - USA 4 Jordan Murrell D 5-11 185 23 England 4 Sam Fink D 6-2 235 - USA 5 Nick von Niederhäusern M 5-9 160 27 Switzerland 6 Thomas Janjigian D 6-2 190 22 USA 5 Mickey Daly D 6-2 235 - USA 7 Jordan Roberts M 6-2 177 24 England 6 Chad Bond M 5-10 180 - UK 8 Mackenzie Pridham F 5-10 175 26 Canada 7 Philip Rasmussen M 6-0 185 - Denmark 9 Dane Kelly F 5-10 165 26 Jamaica 8 Juan Pablo Guzman M 5-9 152 - USA 10 Junior Burgos M 6-0 165 28 El Salvador 9 Jose Angulo F 5-11 180 - USA 11 Anibal Echeverria M 5-8 163 29 USA F 5-8 150 - Mexico 12 Matt Bersano GK 6-1 185 24 USA 10 Miguel Gonzalez 13 Darwin Espinal M 5-9 165 21 Honduras 11 Alex Dixon M 5-8 170 - USA 14 Chris Wehan M 5-9 140 23 USA 12 Daniel Gonzalez M 5-11 170 - USA 15 Jimmy Ockford D 5-11 181 24 USA 14 Jose Barril M 6-0 180 - Spain 16 Brent Richards D 5-10 167 26 USA 16 Jacob Lissek GK 6-2 205 - USA 17 Lindo Mfeka D 5-5 165 24 South Africa 17 Johnathan Brown M 5-11 190 - UK 18 Kip Colvey D 5-10 161 23 USA 240 - USA 19 Dembakwi Yomba F 5-9 160 20 USA 18 C.J.
