A WORD FROM OUR PASTOR

Dear St. Parish Family,

This Sunday is the day our CCD children receive their First Communion!

This is a blessed day as they grow in their faith and now partake in the Eucharistic feast. Please pray for them as they continue their pilgrimage, now strengthened by the graces of the . May God lead them to eternal life!

Please also pray for their families, that they may grow together in faith. God gives us families so that we may lead each other to heaven– may they all come to the heavenly Jerusalem together, strengthened by the love they shared for each other in this life.

On a more prosaic note, the construction continues, and the scaffolding should be going up nicely now (I write these letters on Monday morning, so I hope it's coming up nicely by the time you read this letter!)

Things are moving ahead– the scaffolding should be completed in the next week or two and then work can start in the attic of the church. Workmen will put flooring in the attic (right now there are only cross-beams, which don't allow easy access to the space), after which they will take out the old AC system and then begin to install the new system.

I'll keep you posted as things progress.

God Bless, Fr. Boniface Endorf, O.P
