Frankfurt am Main, September 2019 – Thirty years on from the fall of the Berlin Wall, the German National Tourist Board (GNTB) has an unprecedented variety and quality of tourism services with which to promote Destination Germany around the world. Across the whole of Germany – in both the ‘old’ federal states of former and the ‘new’ states of the former GDR – tourism highlights have been created or improved that add to the ever-growing popularity of Germany as a travel destination.
