Day 1: Singapore Xiamen/Shantou (Dinner) Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Xiamen. Board the coach and head to Shantou. During the journey, have a taste of Green Tea Yam Pie. Savour Chaoshan 18 Local Dishes for dinner. It is a combination of “Shu Ku Kueh”, “Pumpkin Yam Paste”, “Carrot Cake”, “Chaozhou Baked Oysters” and others that make up the 18 flavours of authentic Chaozhou cuisine.
Day 2: Shantou/Chaozhou (B/L/D) Cruise around Harbin Promenade and People’s Square. Visit the beautiful architecture Zhongshan Park, Red Arches, Rocky Mountain and Zig Zag Bridge which is labelled the dangerous 3. Here you get to listen to the local singing to welcome the New Year with a wide variety of activities. Proceed to Shantou and visit “Mother Palace”, it is also being named as “Thean Hou Temple”. At your own expense, have a taste of the local specialty – Wumi Dumplings, Ginger and Ginkgo Potato Soup, Shop at Chinese Village Road Pedestrian Street. After lunch, head to Chaozhou. Taste on bergamot, dried orange and other traditional preserves. Ride on Sightseeing coach and tour Chaozhou Ancient City, visit Kaiyuan Temple, Ancient City Wall. View Guangji Bridge and Guangji Gate Tower from far, one of most famous bridges in China. Enjoy your dinner on Chaozhou cuisine for dinner. Try the braised duck and other gourmet food. At your own expense, ride the tricycle to tour around classic Lane Church Street & Paifang Street + Night Tour of Ancient City Wall & Chaozhou People & Culture Square.
Day 3: Chaozhou/Hua An Tulou/Zhangzhou (B/L/D) After breakfast, proceed to World Heritage “Fujian Tulou”. Taste on Tulou Farm Feast for lunch. Explore “King of Tulou” Hua An Eryi Building + Nanyang Building + Dongyang Building (Includes Tram ride). Eryi Building has been referred as “King of Tulou”, a national treasure. Taste on Tulou Farm feast Flavour for lunch (White Cut Chicken, Pickled Vegetable Pork Belly etc). Have a taste on the local Redskins Peanuts. Then visit the local of Tulou to learn about the customs of Chinese New Year. Travel to Zhangzhou, have an exterior view of Weizhen Temple, passing by Riverside Park and Zhongshan Bridge. If you are keen, you can stay at Riverside Park to celebrate Chinese New Year with the locals or spend some time to admire Narcissus in the park. Proceed to have authentic Taiwanese flavour for dinner.
Day 4: Zhangzhou/Xiamen (B/L/D) Board the coach to China’s Women Volleyball Training Base in ZhangZhou, the base not only provide quality training facilities but also host World-Class Competition games. Head to Nanputuo Temple to experience how the local receive blessings this New Year. South Putuo Temple originated in the Tang Dynasty, gather the historical and cultural origins. Taste on Nanputuo Vegetarian Cake and appreciate the Tea Culture. Cruise along Huandao Road, you will get to view the beautiful sea, beach, grass, trees which create a magnificent view at the Waterfront Walkway. View Kinmen from far. Taste on Mini Seafood Flavour for lunch. Explore the Silk Museum and proceed to the new attraction Traditional Old Courtyard House. In here, it displays different cultures such as Taiwanese Fishing Village culture, Folk culture, Mazu culture, Nanyang culture and many more. Enjoy Egret Cuisine for dinner (including Taiwanese Fried Omelet etc). Watch Taiwanese Legend (At your own expense), a leading international indoor performing arts show.
Day 5: Xiamen (B/L) (Dinner, at your own expense) After breakfast, board the cruise to Gulangyu renowed for its delicate natural beauty, visit International Architecture Exhibition (Catholic Church, Union Church and different various kind of old villas). Proceed to Longtou Business Street, you get to have a taste of authentic local specialty or admire souvenirs. Visit Health Centre. Head to Wuyuan Bay while taking a stroll at the Wuyuan Seaside Boardwalk, enjoy the blue sky, sea breeze and stunning view. View from marina, enjoy the view of a few dozen cruises lining up in a spectacular manner. Explore Arts & Crafts. At night (At your own expense), take a ride along Lujiang to enjoy panoramic scenery on both sides of shores, Yuandang Lake, Yanwu Bridge and shopping therapy at Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street. Taste on complimentary Xiamen snacks. Dinner will be at your own expense (Guests can choose to tour along Zhongshan street to try on different kind of food).
Day 6: Xiamen Singapore (B) After breakfast, visit Kinmen Kitchen Exhibition. You can purchase kitchen supplies at a reasonable price. Head to Xiamen Airport back to Singapore! We hope you enjoy the 5 days tour with us!
