Resident Evil: Retribution opened in cinemas on September 13.

HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA (SONY PICTURES)

WELCOME to the Hotel Transylvania, Dracula’s lavish fi ve-stake resort, where monsters and their families can live it up, free to be the monsters they are without humans to bother them. On one special weekend, Dracula has invited some of the world’s most famous monsters — Frankenstein and his wife, the Mummy, the Invisible Man, a family of werewolves, and more — to celebrate his daughter Mavis’ 118th birthday. For Drac, catering to these infamous friends is no problem — but his world could come crashing down when a human stumbles on the hotel for the first time and befriends Mavis. Columbia Pictures presents a Sony Pictures Animation film, Hotel Transylvania. The film features the voices of Adam Sandler, Andy Samberg, Selena Gomez, Kevin James, Fran Drescher, Steve Buscemi, Molly Shannon, David Spade, and CeeLo Green. Directed by Genndy Tartakovsky. Hotel Transylvania is in cinemas on September 20. Over 90% of our students go on to university.

Kent won the medal for the fairest and best player in the WAFL colts competition with a total of 37 votes, five ahead of West Perth’s Aidan Lynch. South Fremantle’s Brendan Verrier was third with 30 votes. Kent, originally from Northam Federals, made his debut for Perth last season and went on to play 13 games. He increased that to 20 games in 2012 and averaged just over 22 possessions and six marks, while kicking 18 goals for the season. WAFC Talent Manager Raff Guadagnino said Kent was an outstanding young man and a great role model for any country player aspiring to play WAFL football. “Dean is hard at the contest and has a penetrating kick which is of AFL standard,” he said. “Dean had a slow start to the WAFL season however to his credit became a dangerous attacking player for the Demons. “He was also a State 16 player in 2010 and had a very successful championship.”
