Sir,—Lieut. -General Drummond having had under his con- sideration your letter of the 10th of March, desirinjr to be informed of his general plan of defence as far as may be necessary for your guidance in directing the operations of the right division against the attempt which there is reason to expect will be made by the enemy on the Niagara frontier so soon as the season for operations commences, I have received the commands of the Lieut.-General to the following observations instructions to communicate you and y The Lieut. -General concurs with you as to the probability of the enemy's acting on the ofTensive as soon as the season permits. Having, unfortunately, no accurate information as to his plans of attack, general defensive arrangements can alone be suggested. It is highly probable that independent of the siege of Fort Niagara, or rather in combination with the atttick on that place, the enemy \vill invade the District of Niagara by the western road, and that he may at the same time land a force at Long Point and per- haps at Point Abino or Fort Erie. -

As steward of one of the world’s greatest natural wonders, The Niagara Parks Commission (NPC) plays a key role in maintaining, protecting and showcasing the grandeur of the Falls, while contributing to the economic growth and success of Niagara and Ontario. As a self-funded agency of the provincial government, NPC is responsible for the maintenance of 1,325 hectares of parkland, stretching some 56 kilometres along the Niagara River from Lake Erie to Lake Ontario. Our mission remains the same as it was when the Commission was first established in 1885: to preserve and enhance the natural beauty of the Falls and the Niagara River corridor for the enjoyment of visitors while maintaining financial self-sufficiency. The show is promoted by King's Promotions in association with CES Boxing and Titans Boxing Promotions. Lundy of Philadelphia has a record of 29-7-1 with 14 knockouts, Lundy, who turns 35 on January 3rd, will be making his 9th appearance in his hometown. The 13 year-professional has took the "Anyone-Anywhere" slogan into his career. He has wins over Esteban Almarez (7-0), Jason Cintron (10-0), former world champion Richar Abril (12-1-1), Tyrese Hendrix (18-0-1), Omri Lowther (14-1), Patrick Lopez (20-3), former world champion David Diaz (36-3-1), Dannie Williams (21-1), Ajose Olusegun (31- 1), John Delperdeng (10-1), and former world champion DeMarcus Corley. Lundy challenged for the WBO Super Lightweight world championship, but came up short when he took on Terence Crawford on February 27, 2016 in New York. Lundy has also fought world champions Ray Beltran, Viktor Postol and Mauricio Herrera. In his last bout, Lundy dropped a close 12-round decision to undefeated Zair Abdullaev in September 7th in Russia. -

ENHANCED FORMAT OVERVIEW 2017 NASCAR National Series Enhanced Format Overview For which series were these enhancements designed? The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series™, the NASCAR XFINITY Series™ and the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series™. How many Stages are in a race? Three — Stage 1, Stage 2 and the Final Stage. How long is Stage 1 and Stage 2? Approximately 25-30 percent of the event’s total length. Stage lengths will be determined prior to the event. What are Points? They are the points awarded to the top-10 finishers of Stage 1 and Stage 2, and all finishers of the Final Stage. They are immediately added to a driver’s points total following a stage. What are Playoff Points? They are points awarded to the winner of each of the stages, as well as the top-10 drivers in points following the regular season. They will be added to a driver’s reset total only if that driver makes the playoffs. Who earns Points in Stage 1? Drivers who are running first through 10th at the conclusion of Stage 1 will receive points. Additionally, the winner of Stage 1 will receive one playoff point to carry into the playoffs. At the conclusion of Stage 1, there is a caution period in which teams may opt to pit.
