The District coordinator informed that the communities that use the toilets will take care of its maintenance. Each CSC built at Rs. 2 lakhs has 4 toilets per unit (2 for males and 2 for females) and are free for use. To ensure a steady supply of water, handpumps are being installed with pipe water supply inside each toilet.

The current COVID-19 pandemic had caused some disruption in the construction work. However, it has now commenced in full strength with all the workers complying with safety protocols issued by the State. While handwashing facilities have been made available at every construction site, masons are using masks and maintaining social distancing.
