Mr. Speaker adjourned the proceedings of the House at 6.10 p.m. CALLING ATTENTION NOTICE 2. MR. SHER AKBAR KHAN to invite Left over attention of the Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication to a matter of urgent public importance regarding non-availability of 4G internet services in District Buner, causing grave concern amongst the public. INTRODUCTION OF BILL 3. MR. SHAFQAT MAHMOOD, Minister for Left over Federal Education, Professional Training, National Heritage and Culture to introduce a 2 Bill to provide for establishment of the Pakistan Global Institute [The Pakistan Global Institute Bill, 2021]. REFERRAL TO THE ISLAMIC COUNCIL UNDER ARTICLE 229 OF THE CONSTITUTION 4. MINISTER-IN-CHARGE to move that the Left over Bill to establish an effective system of protection, relief and rehabilitation of women, children and any vulnerable person against domestic violence [The Domestic Violence (Prevention and Protection) Bill, 2021], as passed by the Senate with amendments, be referred to the Islamic Council for advice as to whether the Bill is or is not repugnant to the Injunctions of Islam under Article 229 of the Constitution read with Rule 125 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the National Assembly, 2007]. LEGISLATIVE 5. MR. PERVEZ KHATTAK, Minister for Left over Defence to move that the Bill to provide for constitution and regulation of the Joint Maritime Information Organization [The Joint Maritime Information Organization Bill, 2019], as reported by the Standing Committee, be taken into consideration at once. [Amendments entered in a separate list to be moved] 6. MR. PERVEZ KHATTAK, Minister for Left over Defence to move that the Bill to provide for constitution and regulation of the Joint Maritime Information Organization [The Joint Maritime Information Organization Bill, 2019], be passed. RESOLUTION 7. MR. SHAFQAT MAHMOOD, Minister for Left over Federal Education, Professional Training, National Heritage and Culture to move the following resolution:- “That the National Assembly resolves to extend the Higher Education Commission (Amendment) Ordinance, 2021 (IX of 2021) for a further period of one hundred and twenty days w.e.f. 24-07-2021, under proviso to sub- paragraph (ii) of paragraph (a) of clause (2) of Article 89 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.” 8. MR. SHAFQAT MAHMOOD, Minister for Left over Federal Education, Professional Training, National Heritage and Culture to move the 3 following resolution:- “That the National Assembly resolves to extend the Higher Education Commission (Second Amendment) Ordinance, 2021 (X of 2021) for a further period of one hundred and twenty days w.e.f. 05-08-2021, under proviso to sub- paragraph (ii) of paragraph (a) of clause (2) of Article 89 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.” MOTION OF THANKS 9. Discussion on the following motion moved Left over by MR. ZAHEER-UD-DIN BABAR AWAN, Adviser to the Prime Minister on Parliamentary Affairs on 1st February, 2021:- “This House expresses its deep gratitude to the President of Pakistan for his address to both Houses assembled together on 20th August, 2020.” MATTERS OTHER THAN POINTS OF ORDER 10.
