Med et unikt samarbejde blev der åbnet for fodbolden igen, og ’Fodboldens Corona-regler’ var en realitet. På tværs af DBU, DBU Bredde, Divisionsfor- eningen, Kvindedivisionsforeningen, i klubber og blandt de frivillige blev der arbejdet hårdt. I fællesskab viste vi, at vi er stærke, ansvarlige og kan skabe løsninger til glæde og gavn for alle. Det var glædeligt, at så mange kunne nyde godt af fodboldens fællesskaber igen. Den usædvanlige situation fik sammenhold og samfundssind til at gå hånd i hånd. Vi har i DBU hele tiden arbejdet for, at folkesundhed kommer før fodbold, men vi glæder os alligevel over, at fodbold har en helt særlig plads hos mange og er en uundværlig sport for de fleste.
