This outreach kit is intended to provide you and your students with the opportunity to connect with the Beaty Biodiversity Museum’s (BBM) unique biological collections. The Beaty Box contains touchable specimens to stimulate inquiry and discussion within the classroom, enhancing the student learning experience. Theme The theme for this Beaty Box is British Columbia’s seashore with a focus on adaptations. Under this theme, students can learn more about: Interaction between organisms and their seashore environment The factors that lead to the banding patterns on the seashore Evolution and the diverse adaptations of organisms By the end of the lesson, your group should feel
