Construction is well advanced on the 35/65% Donner- Xstrata Bracemac-McLeod Mine, with production scheduled for the beginning of Q2 2013. There are four joint venture areas in the Matagami Project where Donner has earned a 50% interest. Xstrata Zinc has a right in each of the five joint venture areas to earn back a 15% interest by completing a feasibility study or incurring a maximum of C$20 million towards a feasibility study. The Donner-Xstrata team is actively exploring the 4,747km2 area of mutual interest in the world-class Matagami Mining Camp, utilizing similar exploration techniques to the one that resulted in the award-winning discovery of the Bracemac-McLeod deposit. To support our long-term commitment to the Matagami Camp, the Donner-Xstrata team is actively exploring the region, including follow-up work on the team’s new discoveries. Donner’s objective in the Matagami Camp is to discover and develop a supply of long-term feed for the Matagami mill. Once the Company begins receiving revenue from the Bracemac-McLeod mine, Donner intends to grow through exploration and acquisitions centered in Québec.
