La Mirada Regional Aquatics Center is preparing to open Buccaneer Bay. The community is invited to help celebrate the opening of Buc- caneer Bay at the Splash! La Mirada Regional Aquatics Center on Memorial Day weekend. The Buccaneer Bay water park offers fun for the entire fam- ily. Three 25-foot water slides rise from an island playground sur- rounded by a lazy river. A zero-depth entrance into a splash zone is the perfect spot for younger children on a hot summer day. Beginning May 23, Buccaneer Bay will be open on weekends from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Buccaneer Bay will be open daily from June 17 until September 7. For information, call Splash!
