We go to great lengths. Harper Macleod is Scotland’s leading sports law practice, and as Official Partners & Legal Advisers to Scottish Swimming we’re delighted to support them in developing the sport across the country. Sport and competition is central to our culture. Our recent appointment as Legal Advisers to the Glasgow 2018 European Championships is a perfect example of that. However, there’s so much more to Harper Macleod than success in the sports sector. We provide personal legal services to individuals and their families nationwide. From making a Will to winding up an estate, from family law to personal injury, we’ll make every effort to get the result you need. We also offer a full range of commercial legal services to businesses and organisations throughout Scotland. Swimmers, coaches and volunteers would not know Christmas is around the corner if we did not have this competition! The organising committee and volunteers have worked hard to prepare the programme and event, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Special thanks are due to the pool staff, as the National Diving Championships were held at the RCP last weekend. I would like to thank all the team staff, volunteers and supporters who have travelled to Edinburgh and who have given generously of their time and energy. Without their help, this event would not be possible. Swimmers and coaches, supported by families, have been working since summer, preparing for these Championships. The work is done, stamina has been built up and racing skills honed, ready for fast racing. Finally, and most importantly, we hope everyone enjoys the Championships and all that it brings; that goals are achieved, that lessons are learned, that swimmers are inspired and motivated to continue working towards even higher levels of performance.
