To our Ops Manager, Debra Easterling, for her many hours spent developing the idea, designing the Bingo cards, making table decorations, and so much more to make our Bobby Sox Bingo and Name That Tune such a big hit. Thanks to her son Dale for his great DJ’ing for the event. (I think he has groupies now!) And thanks to the many volunteers who helped with set-up, the decorating, clean-up and more: O’Dale Easterling, Judah & Marie & Zion Easterling, Barbara Boswell, George Diehl, Bill Farrell, Andi Matthews, Kathy Molnar, Paul Padegenis & Sandy Witt.

Thanks to Barbara Boswell for donating the Walmart gift card, DJ Easterling for the cupcakes, Gary Head for donating all the ice cream soda makin’s and burger veggies. Also, we’d like to give a shout-out to Heroes Grill, a local veterans’ owned small restaurant, for catering the event at such a good price.

For several years, a married man was having an affair with an Italian woman. One night she told him that she was going to have a baby. Not wanting to ruin his reputation or his marriage, he paid her a large sum of money to return to Italy and secretly have the child. He told her that, if she fÑtz{xàà| remained in Italy, he would send child support until the child turned 18.

She agreed but asked how she should let him know when the child was born.

For discretion, he told her to send him a postcard with just the single word ‘spaghetti’ written on it, and he would begin the child support payments.

She agreed and left for Italy.

About 8 months later, he came home from work to a very confused wife. She told him, “Honey, you received an odd postcard today.”

He said, “Let me see it.”

The wife handed it to him and he read it, then promptly fainted.

On the card was written, ‘spaghetti, spaghetti, spaghetti. 2 with meatballs and 1 without. Please send extra sauce!’. www.nbsc.website | 6 2020 Board of Directors N e w s l e t t e r B o o s t e r s
