JOB DESCRIPTION CONSULTANT ORTHODONTIST £79,860 - £107,668 1 Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is a circa 500 bedded district general hospital, built in the 1970s and serving a population of approximately a quarter of a million people in the Barnsley area. In 2005 the hospital gained Foundation Trust status. Today, the hospital continues to provide a full range of district hospital services to the local community and surrounding area. These include Emergency Department services, outpatient clinics, inpatient services, and Maternity and Children’s services. We also provide a number of specialised services, including cancer and surgical services, in conjunction with other hospitals. Our principal commissioner is Barnsley Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), which is responsible for commissioning health services for the population of Barnsley. We have made significant investment in our estate. In the past few years, we have successfully completed an £8m development of the Imaging Department, a £1 million refurbishment of the Acute Medical Unit and £2 million on the Emergency Department Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) and Resuscitation Unit. Work is also currently underway to develop a Children’s Assessment Unit co-located with the Emergency Department. Operationally, we have three Clinical Business Units (CBUs). Each CBU is led by a team made up of a Clinical Director, a Head of Nursing and a General Manager, who are supported by a Matron and Service Manager together with HR, Finance and Data Analyst Teams. Flooding, Water and the Landscape Conference Photo taken 24th June 2007 Same view taken th 25 June 2007 Sheffield Hallam University Monday 17th March – Thursday 20th March 2008 Visit our Website: www.ukeconet.co.uk The South Yorkshire ECONET This will be a major landmark conference organised by the Tourism and Environmental Change Research Unit at Sheffield Hallam University, in partnership with the Biodiversity and Landscape History Research Institute. The overall theme is ‘Flooding and Water Management in the Landscape’. The main conference will be held at Sheffield Hallam University from Monday 17th March to Wednesday 19th March 2008. On Thursday 20th March there will be a linked site visit to Bowden Housteads Wood and Sheffield’s Manor Estate, to look firsthand at Sustainable Urban Drainage Schemes in practice and indeed at the consequences of failure. The conference will cover the lessons of history and landscape change for the future, and the impacts of climate and other environmental changes. The proceedings of this significant event will be pre-published and available at the conference. We hope to share experiences of landscape-scale responses, with a truly international flavour and have speakers from Germany and the Netherlands. Each day will address a particular theme and we expect considerable interest from researchers and other professionals, from the wider public and from the media too. Keynote speakers will include Professors Chris Baines, Adrian Saul, Stuart Lane, David Lerner, Herman Heilmeier and Ian Cluckie, plus Alan Simson, Ian Rotherham, Peter Glaves, Nigel Dunnett and Jos Van Alphen. There will also be speakers from the Environment Agency, ADAS, Halcrow, Forest Commission and National Farmers Union. -
Strategy Development Process
Move More Strategy Development Process Over 100 individuals from many different organisations have had the opportunity to contribute to the development of the Move More Strategy 2016-2021. This strategy was always intended to build upon the first Move More strategy and has been pitched as a ‘refresh’ rather than a ‘big bang’ change. This document outlines the strategy development process. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the process has been largely undertaken online. We have been mindful that many people were extremely busy and had limited capacity to contribute. Every effort was made to create opportunities for meaningful interactions with stakeholders in a range of ways that were not burdensome to individuals or organisations. A small team comprising Dr Anna Lowe (National Centre for Sport & Exercise Medicine-Sheffield), Tom Hughes (Yorkshire Sport Foundation), Dr Helen Quirk (University of Sheffield) and Dr Cath Homer (Sheffield Hallam University) led the strategy consultation process; they continue to work collaboratively with a range of key stakeholders, partners and critical friends. 1. The strategy development process 1.1 Preparatory work Strategy planning began in June 2020, desk-based research was undertaken in the form of auditing and reviewing. Audit of the first strategy The Move More Strategy 2021-2026 is intended to be a refresh of the first strategy, building upon these solid foundations and doing more of ‘what works’ in our city. The original Move More Strategy was reviewed, and actions audited against the progress made. We recognised that huge progress and achievements had been made outside of the actions outlined in the strategy, highlighting the need to be flexible in our ongoing approach. -

We’ve had an excellent response from NFFF members this year regarding the AGM paperwork; NFFF news firstly nominations for ECs and Officials, then the election we’ve had to run to select four ECs for England out of the six nominations, followed Page 8 finally by the proxy votes that were submitted. YORKSHIRE CRICKET BOARD ANNUAL REPORT OF THE DIRECTORS FEBRUARY 2016 1 REPORT OF THE YORKSHIRE CRICKET BOARD 2015 Executive Summary Introduction 2015 will again go down as another year of change in Yorkshire Cricket and in particular for the Yorkshire Cricket Board. Mark Arthur and Andrew Watson continue to work very closely as we all move forward into the “Yorkshire Cricket” branding. Andrew is now on some YCCC committees and is in attendance at the YCF Trustees meeting. Mark is now on the YCB Board of Directors, the Yorkshire Cricket Pyramid League Management Board and the Women’s Sub- committee. The partnership between them is extremely strong and we both have full and total commitment, inclusion and operate an open door policy. The YCB, YCCC and YCF are now in effect departments of Yorkshire Cricket with all staff assisting each other. Communication, help, support and resources are available across the Yorkshire Cricket family. Two significant changes will occur in 2016. Firstly Paul Hudson and Chris Thomson from YCCC will be in charge and will oversee the YCB Finances. They already oversee YCCC and YCF finances. Secondly, the YCB will be moving offices in March 2016. They will be joining the County Club in their ground floor offices in the Carnegie Pavilion. Contact details will be circulated in due course. The YCB have 8 Directors and they make the decisions and oversee specific areas of work. Philip Radcliffe (Chair), Albert Pattison (Vice Chair), Ian Cotterhill, Mark Arthur (YCCC CEO), Chris West, Jane Hildreth, Umar Rafiq and Andrew Watson (Executive Director) are the current directors.
