TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER

ARGYLL AND BUTE COUNCIL (OFF-STREET PARKING PLACES AND CHARGES) (BUTE AND ) 202__

Argyll and Bute Council in the interests of support local economy, maintaining access and safety, is proposing to make a Traffic Regulation Order to allow the management of all the following car park by restricting its use and vehicle type permitted to park, improve the regulation and enforcement of inappropriate parking that may impact on access and egress of vehicle and the associate safety implication:

 Off street car park areas with parking charges (Guildford Square Car Park, Rothesay; Argyll Street Car Park, Dunoon; Coal Pier Car Park - Section A, Dunoon; Jane Villa Car Park, Dunoon; Moir Street Car Park, Dunoon; and Swimming Pool Car Park - Section A, Dunoon); and

 Off street car park areas with no parking charges (Albert Pier Car Park, Rothesay; Chapelhill Car Park, Rothesay; Car Park, Ardentinny; Car Park, Carrick; Breakwater Car Park, Dunoon; Coal Pier Car Park - Section B, Dunoon; Dolphin Hall Car Park, Dunoon; Edward Street Car Park, Dunoon; Glenmorag HGV/Coach Park, Dunoon; Hanover Street Car Park, Dunoon; Jane Street Car Park, Dunoon; Kirk Street Car Park, Dunoon; Milton House Car Park, Dunoon; Pilot Street Car Park, Dunoon; Rock Café Car Park, Dunoon; Stadium Car Park, Dunoon; Swimming Pool Car Park - Section B, Dunoon; Victoria Road Car Park, Hunters Quay; George Street, Hunters Quay; Pier Head Car Park, Innellan; Sandy Beach Car Park, Innellan; Blairs Ferry Car Park, Kames; Kilmun Car Park, Kilmun; Car Park, Lochgoilhead; Broxwood Car Park, Sandbank; Highland Avenue Car Park, Sandbank; School Lane Car Park, Sandbank; Shore Road Car Park, Sandbank; and Tighnabruaich Car Park, Tighnabruaigh).

Any person wishing to object to the proposals should send details of the grounds for objection in writing providing their full name and address, to Head of Legal and Regulatory Support, Argyll and Bute Council, Kilmory, Lochgilphead, Argyll, PA31 8RT or by emailing [email protected] by 5th July 2021. Letters of objection will be replied to after the closing date of the period for objections.
