Constellations were identified and first used by the Ancient Greeks. They were important in different ways; such as to plan ahead for agriculture and also for finding locations. The most common constellations visible to the naked eye are ones you might know. Such as O’Rion, Aquarius, or the Northern Cross. Interestingly enough, The Little Dipper is not a constellation, it’s part of the Ursa Minor(A bear constellation). People in Greece used those common ones a lot. Zodiac constellations are found at about 20 degrees in the sky. A lot of people know the 12 zodiac constellations. People also find it a fun way to express their birthday, or who they are.
