Comprehensive Property Guide COMPREHENSIVE PROPERTY GUIDE Please note, Home Partners will only consider purchasing homes which are located within our approved communities. Home Partners is focused on resident affordability and increasing the likelihood of our residents’ success in purchasing the home. We target the broadest group of communities where we think both our residents can succeed and Home Partners can efficiently service their needs. We adjust our investment criteria from time to time in response to market conditions including home price appreciation forecasts, mortgage affordability, population density, and more. The following guide lists our approved high school attendance zones* as of 3/22/19 which can also be found at HomePartners.com/communities. Basic Property Criteria: • Single family home or fee-simple townhome • Located in an approved community • List price between $100,000 and metro's maximum purchase price • Minimum of two above-grade bedrooms on a lot of two acres or less • Traditional sale or FSBO Remember: It is not guaranteed that Home Partners will purchase a home that meets the basic property criteria. Please reference the Property Qualification Criteria guide before submitting a home for review. *Important Note: While high school scholastic ranking is not a factor in our analysis, we utilize high school boundaries as our community outlines. Click the metro area in the chart above to jump to the correct page in this guide. Please contact 877.234.5155 with any questions or for more information. • TEA Releases 2017 Accountability Ratings
TEA News Releases Online Aug. 15, 2017 TEA releases 2017 accountability ratings AUSTIN – The Texas Education Agency (TEA) today released the 2017 state accountability ratings for more than 1,200 school districts and charters, as well as more than 8,700 campuses statewide. The ratings reveal that approximately 95 percent of school districts and charters across Texas have achieved the rating of Met Standard. In addition, the number of individual campuses achieving a rating of Met Standard or Met Alternative Standard increased again this year, while the number of campuses receiving a rating of Improvement Required continued to decline. Districts, campuses, and charters receive one of three ratings under the accountability system: Met Standard, Met Alternative Standard, or Improvement Required. School district ratings (including charter operators) by category in 2017 are as follows: DISTRICT LEVEL 2017 RATING DISTRICT CHARTER TOTAL PERCENT Met Standard/Alternative 993 153 1,146 95.3% Met Standard 993 126 1,119 93.0% Met Alternative Standard N/A 27 27 2.2% Improvement Required 28 16 44 3.7% Not Rated 2 11 13 1.1% TOTAL 1,023 180 1,203 100.0% The 2017 ratings are based on a system that uses a performance index framework that includes four areas: Index 1 – Student Achievement (which provides a snapshot of performance across all subjects); Index 2 – Student Progress (which measures year-to-year student progress by student group); Index 3 – Closing Performance Gaps (which emphasizes the academic achievement of economically disadvantaged students and the lowest performing racial/ethnic student groups); and Index 4 – Postsecondary Readiness (which emphasizes the importance of earning a high school diploma that provides students with the foundation necessary for success in college, the workforce, job training programs or the military).

Juan Carlos Coronado Juan Carlos is a graduate of Mesquite High School and teaches math at Tosch Elementary. He has 14 years of experience – seven in Mesquite ISD. Principal Betsy Adams says, “Mr. Coronado is always smiling, shows respect to all students and carries the attitude that ‘nothing is impossible.’ In addition, he leads his team with enthusiasm and constant encouragement.” Juan Carlos’ sister, a professional educator, gave him his first opportunity to work with students. Following this, he knew working with children was his calling. He says, “I truly enjoy working with my students and their families. Year after year I get the opportunity to enrich the lives of kids in order to secure a better future for them.” While it’s important to teach math skills, Juan Carlos also focuses on lessons in kindness and respect through his own actions. Something unique about Juan Carlos is that his parents immigrated to the United States so he and his siblings could have the opportunity to attend good schools and get a great education.

  • LUELLA HIGH SCHOOL Pride News #29: March 19 – 23
LUELLA HIGH SCHOOL Pride News #29: March 19 – 23 There are 50 school days before Graduation – 45 class days before senior grades are finalized and 10 class days before Spring Break. 3RD NINE WEEKS ENDING: The 3rd Nine Weeks of the school year closed on Friday, March 16. Teachers will finalize grades this week, and grades will be posted for the 3rd Nine Week grading period on Monday, March 26 in the parent/student IC portal. WOMEN AND YOUTH MARCH – STUDENT WALKOUT: On Wednesday, March 14 our students participated in the national Women and Youth March Walk Out. Our event was student organized. Approximately 75% of our students participated at the event on the baseball field. Here is how the students framed the event for their peers: “We are remembering the 17 lives lost in the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School (Parkland, FL) shooting on February 14, 2018. The walk out will be held at 10:00 a.m. on March 14, 2018 on the Luella High School baseball field. During the time of the walk out, there will be a banner participants can sign and students of Luella High School will be reading the names and short biographies of the students and teachers who died during the February shooting. This is NOT a mandatory event, nor is it an opportunity to skip or advocate a certain political agenda. The purpose of this event is for commemorating the lives lost due to senseless violence.” It was so rewarding to watch this event. I think this event would rank as one of the very best days that I have experienced at Luella.

Its contents provide the basic structure for the athletic programs in Forney ISD. Situations outside these regulations should be handled with sound reasoning, good judgment, and adherence to the values of honesty and integrity. The athletic program at Forney ISD is voluntary. Students are not obligated to participate, and athletics is not required for graduation. Thus, participation is a privilege and not a right. Athletes are expected to conform to high standards of conduct. The privilege of athletic participation may be revoked if the athlete fails to comply with these standards. Likewise, Forney ISD requests and expects certain standards of sportsmanship and behavior from the parents and fans supporting our programs. These will be communicated by our school district’s coaches and enforced at all school events.

  • ARE YOU READY to VOTE in PERSON on ELECTION DAY? Montgomery County Will Open 39 Election Day Vote Centers on November 3, 2020, from 7 A.M
ARE YOU READY TO VOTE IN PERSON ON ELECTION DAY? Montgomery County will open 39 Election Day Vote Centers on November 3, 2020, from 7 a.m. – 8 p.m. On Election Day you may vote at any one of Montgomery County’s 39 Election Day Vote Centers. Most polling places will be closed due to the pandemic. Instead, you may vote at any vote center. Same-day registration is available with proof of residency. Due to the pandemic, we will limit the number of people inside vote centers at one time and distance voting booths at least six feet apart. This will result in longer lines and wait times. For the closest Election Day vote center and wait-times, text VC plus your ZIP code to 77788 (Example: VC 20879). Maryland's voting system offers features for accessibility. Please ask the Election Judge about your options. Before you are given a ballot, an Election Judge will tell you, "You have two ways to mark your ballot - either by hand or with the electronic device. Which do you prefer?" You will choose how to mark your ballot. If you requested a ballot by mail, please vote that ballot. There will be a drop box at every in- person voting center, so you can skip the line and drop off your ballot. For additional drop boxes near you, text BOX plus your ZIP code to 77788 (Example: BOX 20879). You may not “trade in” your by-mail ballot at a vote center. If you requested a ballot by mail and try to vote in person, you will need to apply for a provisional ballot, which adds time to your voting experience.
