We are nearing the 25th year Silver Jubilee celebration, marching towards the marking goals, I consider this as a proud privilege to report the activity of the department of physical education for the academic year 2018-19 The dream of sports men, Administrator and Principal are taking shape in reality, we wait for the dawn of full fledged sports in our campus with the complete guidance of our Honorable Justice V. Rangasamy, and our beloved Principal Dr. P. Natarajan, here are a few snippets for the activities of the present academic year 2018-19 New addition to the department Our college play ground is equipped and built in the university standards this was inaugurated on 11th January 2019by the our college Principal and in the presence of all the faculty and students of our college

Participation of Students in External Sports Events 2018-19 The students participate in various sports events like

 Zonal games (There are 19 Zones in Anna University and our College comes under Zone 6 consisting of 33 colleges)  Inter Zonal games  Other college invitation sports  Intra-Murals  Riviera sports-VIT university

1. 4th Sep. 2018. – In Chess, our college boys & girls entered S/F held at University College of Engineering, Arni.

2. 5th and 6th Sep. 2018. – In , our college boys entered Q/F held at Arunai Engineering College ,Tiruvanamalai.

3. 7th and 8th Sep. 2018. – In , our college boys entered Q/F held at Abdul Hakkhem college of Engineering,Melvisharam.

4. 11th Sep. 2018. – In , our college boys entered Q/F held at Annai Mira College of Engineering and Technology

5. 8th and 9th Oct. 2018. – In Kabbadi, our college boys won First Place held at Arunai Engineering College,Tiruvannamalai.

6. 11th and 12th Oct. 2018. – In Athletics, our college Boys and Girls won 3 Bronze Medals held at Adhiparasakthi College of Engineering, Kalavai.

ANNUAL SPORTS MEET 2018-19 VALEDICTION FUNCTION Our college annual sports day valediction function on 12/02/2019 celebrated. That day Mr. C, Murali Deputy Superintendent of Police Vaniymbadi Sub Division was the Chief Guest. He was invited by our college beloved Principal Dr. P.Natarajan. Mr. C. Murali spoke about importance of health and value of sports. Besides he explored the history of Olympic journey of our nation and sports achievers record details. In his address he also appreciated our college annual sports achievers and distributed certificates medals and overall trophy for the deserving players the function was concluded by the vote of thanks of the students
