Report to the Community 2019 2019 REPORT TO THE COMMUNITY We’re giving back. We are financial solutioneers, focused on the needs of Overview our members and our community. 2019 was another year of change for Noventis. All year of giving. (and for most of 2018), we had been in preparation for the banking system conversion we went through in September. Sponsorship: There were some bumps in the road, and our team worked $116,313 together to smooth them out. Since the conversion, our team has adapted to the new banking system, as have our members. In the near future, Service this new system will allow Noventis to grow and upgrade fee rebates: our services, especially in the field of innovation and $215,517 technology. Community Connections We also opened our twelfth location in 2019 - our Solutions program: Centre in Lundar. This efficient new location features an $79,204 ATM and iTM, and is focused on serving the community for years to come. 2019 saw us contributing to our community through a variety of projects and sponsorships, and also giving back to our members via surplus share redemptions and service fee rebates. In fact, more than $1,025,516 were returned to our members and our communities via these programs during 2019! Surplus shares redeemed: We want to see our community thrive and prosper, and $614,482 to join in the celebrations when they do. We will be here for our members again this year; supporting them, giving back to them and finding solutions with them. Striving, as always, to be North of Ordinary. It is the place we gather to be entertained, to socialize, to exercise, to celebrate and to catch up with our friends and neighbours. So, when we were approached by the Fisher Branch Rec Centre’s board with a request for funding, we were proud to be able to help. The work to be done was extensive; they needed a couple upgrades made to their ice plants, some major sewer system repair and one part of the building needed to be torn down. Adrienne Halkowich (Branch Experience Manager), Peter Yuzwa,KarenAbas, Wendy Yuzwa (Relationship Manager I - small business/personal) The Noventis vision of building strong community inspires us to help get these projects completed. SEASONAL CAMPERS ’ GUIDE RULES AND REGULATIONS Revised January 2021 Welcome to Seasonal Camping in Manitoba If you have a desire to get outside more, you’re in the right province. Many of us know Manitoba only as a Prairie province. While we certainly have vast expanses of prairies, people are sometimes amazed to learn that about 60 per cent of our province is boreal- forested Canadian Shield wilderness. Between prairie and boreal forest are regions of lush, green parkland. Our entire province is dotted with thousands of crystal clear lakes filled with freshwater fish and connected to streams and rivers that eventually find their way north across tundra landscapes to our ocean coast at Hudson Bay. Manitoba is a province of such diverse and incredible beauty that appreciating the landscapes and abundant wildlife resources really does mean experiencing them in person. Seasonal camping is a tremendous way to do that. It’s something every Manitoban should expe- rience at least once. Once you’ve experienced this life adventure, you may find yourself com- pelled to return again and again. You will know Manitoba as the outdoor paradise it really is. You will never forget that you live in a big, diverse and beautiful province where you are free to make your own adventures.
