Art Unmade - Video Performance by Berlin Artist Johanna Keimeyer Art unmade - Video performance by Berlin artist Johanna Keimeyer Video installation and live performance THE FACE WITHIN by Johanna Keimeyer, Uferstudios Berlin, presented by UNIT9/ London Pictures of the Installation On June 29th and 30th, 2018, the premiere of the video installation and live performance THE FACE WITHIN will take place at Uferstudios Berlin — studios for contemporary dance. Berlin-based artist Johanna Keimeyer shows projections of her own body with clustered video screens. In her work she illustrates the visualization of feelings, perceptions and their limits. She translates it into live video recordings, which she projects on screens led by a dialogue. Voices, lights, projections, the presence of spectators and artists follow the current moment and the opportunity to resonate. No clinging to a prescribed script but the vibrant liveliness of the now lets the piece emerge. ??? What the hell are we doing here ??? This is now being watched. Throw definitions of life overboard, allowing for bewilderment, let dying be dying and accepting new worlds. Keimeyer invites the visitors to take a seat, to perceive their bodies and emotions, to allow all existence and to step back. A touch. With the noble aim of being a useful tool for our community, at the end of 2012 we decided to gather the opinions of renowned experts on how the web industry will evolve in the complex times we live in, in this tower of Babel of technologies and devices that’s rushing towards us. Of course, nobody can know for sure what might happen in the coming months and years. In fact, many of the interviewees were hesitant to give an opinion on trends.
