Discussion of DCPS proposals for planned new schools at Hardy Rec property near Foxhall Road and Reservoir Road and at the former Georgetown Day School campus on MacArthur Boulevard Claudia Luján, DCPS Deputy Chief, Strategic School Planning and Enrollment and Andrea Swiatocha, DCPS Deputy Manager of Facilities, as well as representatives of Stoddert PTO will brief the community on the current school proposals and review process and take questions. ANC3B has just been invited to join the Community Working Group that DCPS created to assess plans for schools in the Wilson High School feeder network. Presentation of Request for Zoning Special Exception for Addition at 2131 Observatory Place Jeremy and Rachel Robinson are proposing a 2-story addition, increasing lot occupancy from the 40% allowed under zoning to 44.2%. They have support letters from neighbors at 2129 and 2201 Observatory.

Proposed Letter to DDOT with Recommendations for Post-Pandemic “Slow Streets” Initiatives DDOT has asked for comments by the end of May on how it should achieve the goals of the recently closed 2020 “Slow Streets” program that DDOT launched last summer during the COVID-19 emergency

Presentation on Continuing COVID-19 Closure of Beach Drive to Vehicles in Ted Mastroianni will speak briefly on efforts to extend emergency restrictions on portions of Beach Drive so it is devoted to recreational purposes such as bikes and walking and is not open to motor vehicles.

Presentation by Breadsoda at 2233 to request an amendment to the Settlement Agreement with ANC 3B to extend late night hours for its top patio and allow live music
