The creation of tools with applied potential is connected with the problems of communication ecology. This research, conducted on the basis of the Russian language, makes it possible to predict the significance of such studies on the material of the Bashkir language. The authors consider the development of a software product based on the Bashkir language as an important stage in scientific research, which will provide the opportunity not only to conduct comparative research, but also to solve applied socially relevant tasks related to different aspects of the life of a multinational society. Using the synesthetic properties of consciousness as research units of analysis and modeling the color palette of the sound fabric of languages, the authors, applying computer technologies, express the applied potential of sound color through the manifestation of associative (psychological) chromaticity of the Bashkir and Russian languages.

How to use the Atlas The Atlas has two map sections The Main Section shows the location of Russia’s intact forest landscapes. The Thematic Section shows their tree species composition in two different ways. The legend is placed at the beginning of each set of maps. If you are looking for an area near a town or village Go to the Index on page 153 and find the alphabetical list of settlements by English name. The Cyrillic name is also given along with the map page number and coordinates (latitude and longitude) where it can be found. Capitals of regions and districts (raiony) are listed along with many other settlements, but only in the vicinity of intact forest landscapes. The reader should not expect to see a city like Moscow listed. Villages that are insufficiently known or very small are not listed and appear on the map only as nameless dots. If you are looking for an administrative region Go to the Index on page 185 and find the list of administrative regions. The numbers refer to the map on the inside back cover. Having found the region on this map, the reader will know which index map to use to search further. If you are looking for the big picture Go to the overview map on page 35. This map shows all of Russia’s Intact Forest Landscapes, along with the borders and Roman numerals of the five index maps. If you are looking for a certain part of Russia Find the appropriate index map. These show the borders of the detailed maps for different parts of the country.

At the present time water resources in the Republic of Bashkortostan (Russia) are exposed by negative anthropogenic influence. Natural processes also contribute to the depletion of water resources. The implementation of the water management system raises a number of methodological problems: the uncertainty of the criteria for assessing the ecological status of water bodies; the complexity of the relationship between the quantitative and qualitative characteristics of the water body due to the regional natural, anthropogenic, climatic features of the territory. The aim of this study is to development of a method for calculating the risk of water resources depletion. The method was tested on the river Belaya (Republic of Bashkortostan, Russia) catchment area. In calculating of water resources depletion risk several parameters were taken into account in particular: the area of watershed, catchment data of surface water and groundwater, data of land use, the average annual runoff, karst phenomena, vegetation. In this paper we use the method of import of geo data containing the soil composition, vegetation, geological structure and forest to assess the ecological condition of the river Belaya. There are defined the catchment areas of the river Belaya, which required immediate management solutions.

  • Environmental Management in Joint Streams Regulation by Two Hydroelectric Complexes
Environment. Technology. Resources, Rezekne, Latvia Proceedings of the 11 th International Scientific and Practical Conference. Volume I, 23-27 Environmental Management in Joint Streams Regulation by two Hydroelectric Complexes Balzannikov M.I., Mikhasek A.A., Yurov V.M. Samara State Technical University, Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering Address: Molodogvardeyskaya St., 194, Samara, 443001, Russia Abstract. Lowland river water power developments are usually built to solve complex tasks on the basis of the requirements of rational use of water resources. First of all, operating conditions of hydroelectric complex structures should provide safety and economic efficiency in their work. Besides, they are aimed to satisfy various demands of water consumers. It is particularly important that behaviour of hydroelectric complex structures should satisfy contemporary requirements of environmental security. The most important task here is to create favourable ecological conditions of life for people who live in settlements located in the zone of influence of two hydroelectric complexes located on different rivers. Here, to achieve environmental targets it is necessary to interlink modes of operation of these water storage control structures. There are two water power developments built in the Republic of Bashkortostan, Russia, in the middle flow of the Belaya River. Both of them have considerable impact on the formation of level mode and different consumers’ water supply. They are Umaguzinskiy and Nugushskiy water power developments. Both hydroelectric complexes and their water reservoirs together satisfy the following generally accepted requirements of water consumers: − they prevent the lowering of the water level in the river Belaya (during low streamflow period) below the minimum values required to ensure proper water supply for industrial enterprises; − they generate electric power and provide industries and cities with electricity.
