Todd Humphrey, 22, is from Atlanta, Georgia. He completed his undergraduate degree at Florida State University ​ where he studied with Greg Sauer. At Florida State, Todd served as principal cellist of the University Philharmonia and was cellist of the Lux String Quartet. This ensemble was known for its heartfelt and engaging performances along with its numerous community outreach events. Currently Todd is completing his masters at Miami University of Ohio where he studies with Sarah Kim. At Miami University, Todd is a graduate assistant. This is his first time attending the Green Mountain Festival and he is studying with Dr. Kim.

Matthew Wiest, 19, currently studies with David Requiro at the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado. For ​ the past two summers, Matthew has been selected to perform in concerts with the National Repertory Orchestra in Breckenridge, Colorado. Passionate about performing chamber music, Matthew formed a string quartet who called themselves 340b and were chosen to perform in a masterclass under . He has had the opportunity to perform in masterclasses under the Calidore String Quartet, the Borromeo String Quartet, Nicholas Recuber, Alison Wells, and Robert deMaine. Matthew is studying with Matthew Zalkind at Green Mountain this summer.

A resident of Naples, Florida, Luciano Marsalli has studied the violin for 17 years. He has won numerous ​ ​ competitions and has performed as a soloist with orchestra and in recital. Most notably, Marsalli was invited to be the soloist on an 8-concert series with the Naples Philharmonic. He has held various engagements as an orchestral section leader (twice at the annual FMEA conference) and was an apprentice in the National Music Festival. As a chamber musician, Marsalli has performed at both the Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival and as part of the Festival Aix in Aix en Provence, France. He currently studies at Vanderbilt University as a rising senior in the studio of Carolyn Huebl, working toward a Bachelor’s Degree in Violin Performance.

Simon Ho Yin Cheng has been studying the violin since he was 6. He received a perfect score playing a Level VI ​ String Solo at NYSSMA in 2012. He was the winner of Binghamton Youth Symphony Concerto Competition in 2013, and the International Virtuoso Competition in 2015, the West Windsor Award 2017 Young Artist Concerto Competition, the Alternate of Juilliard Pre-College Competition in 2017, Little Mozart Music Competition 2018 and received Gold for YWCA Competition in 2019. He also received honorable mention for NJIO Competition in 2019. Simon is currently 16 years old and will be in 11th grade next year. He also is a student of Elizabeth Chang at the Pre-College Division of the in Manhattan, and at Green Mountain.

Abigail Yoon, age 14, is a proud student of Ann Setzer and a rising sophomore at Tenafly High School in Bergen ​ County, NJ. She is also a past member of the New York Youth Symphony Orchestra with Michael Repper, and its Chamber Music Program with Lisa Tipton and coach, Jia Kim. She has had the wonderful privilege of touring Spain with the New York Youth Symphony Orchestra last summer and the opportunity of solo performances with and solo performance in winner’s recitals at venues all over subsequent to these competitions. She is excited to be a part of the Green Mountain family this summer!

Entering her senior year at the Vanguard high school in Colorado Springs, Jessie Zimmermann is currently a ​ ​ student of James Maurer. In 2018, she placed third in the Seoul National Music Competition and placed second in 2018, where she was invited to compete nationally. In 2019 Jessie won first place in the senior division of the EOP string competition. Recently she placed as alternative winner in the Broomfield Symphony Orchestra Youth Concerto Competition and third place in the Young Artist Competition for the Chamber Orchestra of the Springs. Since 2017 she has been a member of the Denver Young Artist Orchestra, serving as assistant and principal second violin. In 2019, she was also part of the Colorado All State Orchestra as assistant concertmaster. This is her first year in Green Mountain, and she is in the studio of Sandy Yamamoto..

Sixteen year-old violist Ashley Park is in the Math and Science Academy of Palisades Park Jr./Sr. High School. ​ ​ Ashley studies with Elizabeth Chang at the The Juilliard School Pre-College. Before beginning viola study at the age of 12, she played the piano for 10 years. First-prize awards given to Ashley include the Manhattan International Music Competition and the New York International Music Competition. She also participated in the North Jersey Regional Orchestra and the New Jersey All State orchestra as principal. She was also a finalist as the only group picked in New Jersey for the Chamber Music Society for Young Artists. Ashley recently received a Special Congressional Recognition Certificate from Congresswoman Grace Meng. This is her third year attending Green Mountain.

From Mansfield, Ohio and a graduate of Baldwin Wallace University studying with Lembi Veskimets, Colin Henley ​ was named winner of the university’s 2020 Lauria Concerto Competition. He has participated in masterclasses with Robert Vernon, Masumi Rostad and Phillip Ying. In past summers he has studied at the Zodiac and Miami Festivals. Colin held principal positions in the Mansfield Symphony and Cleveland Orchestra Youth Orchestras, as well as the Baldwin Wallace Symphony Orchestra. In the fall he will pursue a Master's degree in viola performance at the Cleveland Institute of Music with Stanley Konopka.

Critically recognized as “an accomplished violin soloist,” (CVNC) Maitreyi Muralidharan is an east coast based ​ ​ musician and an avid orchestral and chamber performer. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from the of Music under the tutelage of Herbert Greenberg, and a Masters Degree from UNCSA under the tutelage of Kevin Lawrence. Maitreyi was raised in , where she was concertmaster of the NC Youth Sinfonietta and Triangle Youth Philharmonic, with whom she performed as soloist. She has attended the Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival, Aspen Music Festival, Summit Music Festival, PRISMA, and Brevard Music Festival, where she served as concertmaster. A passionate chamber musician, Maitreyi has performed in groups on both the national and international stage. As a concertmaster and principal player, Maitreyi has worked with conductors Marin Alsop, Larry Rachleff, Joseph Young, Teri Murai and Grant Llewellyn. She has worked with the new music ensemble Symphony Number One as a Development Director, and enjoys working with and advising new music ensembles.

Sofia Marina, 15, lives in Washington State and is a junior at Phillips Academy in Andover, MA. She currently ​ studies with Natalia Harlap at the New England Conservatory Preparatory School. At Green Mountain, she studies with Dmitri Shteinberg. Sofia’s accomplishments include first prizes in various local, state, and Pacific Northwest piano competitions. She had her debut performance with the Inland Northwest Orchestra at the age of nine after ​ winning the Young Artist Competition, and she has performed live as a featured artist on radio station Classical ​ KING FM 98.1.

Ellie Taylor is a second-year undergraduate student at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. She ​ studies with Dmitri Shteinberg both at UNCSA and at Green Mountain, which she is attending for the first time this year. Before moving to North Carolina, she studied with Sandra Carlock for seven years at the Settlement Music School of . Ellie has performed as a featured instrumental soloist in the Collaborations Concert hosted by Settlement Music School and the Metropolitan Dance Academy, and in a masterclass led by Leon Bates. In May 2019, she received the Bart Pitman Scholarship in Piano from the Delaware Valley Music Club.
