Most palpably, they like each other. That’s how and Lynn Deas have become perhaps the longest-standing – and certainly one of the most formidable – women’s pairs in the world. After a span of 35 years, their partnership continues to evolve. “We have been there for each other through the deaths of our parents, our weddings, illnesses … the good and the bad,” says Palmer. Deas agrees. “It is like a marriage. We get things out in the open.
