As already outlined, the intention for housing is that it should be highly sustainable and highly efficient. This applies to both its fabric, structure and construction methods but equally to its performance and occupation. We would commit to meeting at least ‘AECB building’ standard, but would like to go further and effectively ensure that the homes can operate on a net zero carbon basis over the course of a year.
