Durand Line is the line demarcating the boundaries of Pakistan and Afghanistan. It was drawn up in 1896 by Sir Mortimer Durand. Hindenburg Line is the boundary dividing Germany and Poland. The Germans retreated to this line in 1917 during World War I Mason-Dixon Line is a line of demarcation between four states in the United State. Marginal Line was the 320-km line of fortification on the Russia-Finland border. Drawn up by General Mannerheim.
