4-H New Year Showdown 4-H New Year Showdown January 14-16, 2022—Rain or Shine Show will begin promptly at 9:00am each day Morgan County Agricultural Center - 2380 Athens Hwy, Madison, GA 30650 Questions? [email protected] or 478-994-7014 Pre-registration deadline is January 5, 2022 Show Details 1. The show will be January 14-16, 2022 at the Morgan County Agricultural Facility. Early arrival is available on January 13, 2022. 2. Pre-registration is highly recommended, day-of registration will be available. 3. The show will follow the divisions of the Georgia 4-H State Horse Show. Classes may be combined and/or run concurrently at the discretion of show management. 4. Horse Stalls will be $12 per night and includes shavings. Due to the limited number of stalls, tack stalls may not be available. If you would like to be placed on the list if one is available you will indicate that on the next page. 5. We will be following the Georgia 4-H State Horse Show Rule Book. 6. A maximum of three horses per rider can be exhibited. Horses may only be shared by siblings in different age divisions. 7. Age divisions are based on rider’s age and/or riding abilities. 8. Riders may only have one entry per class. 9. Judge's decision is final. Age Divisions Cloverleaf (4-6th grades): Walk and trot/jog classes only. No over fences class, no cattle classes, and no running events. Novice (7-12th grades—first year showing): Walk and trot/jog classes only. No over fences class, no cattle classes, and no running events. Junior (7th-8th grades). Walk/Trot/Canter classes. Note: Advanced 4-H’ers in 4-6th may move up to compete in this level. Senior: 9-12th grades. Walk/Trot/Canter classes Show Fees: • Office Fee: $5 Flat Rate Show Fee • Horse Stall Fee: $12/night (Includes shavings) Includes all classes, all fees, and 1 horse stall for 3 • Tack Stall: $12/night nights - • Class Fee: Pre-registration: $10 Day-of: $15 Only available for pre-registration!!!! • Over Fences Fee: $20 • Cloverleaf/Novice Flat Rate Show Fee: $125 • Cattle Flat-Rate Fee: $30 • Junior/Senior Flat Rate Fee: $225 • T-shirts: $15 (short sleeve) $20 (long sleeve) You will need to send your registration, payment, copy of negative Coggins, 4-H Code of Conduct, and 4-H Medical Form to the Monroe County Extension Office P.O.
