Leawood, Kan. (Nov. 6, 2013) - AMC Theatres® is excited to announce that guests anxious to see Marvel's THOR: THE DARK WORLD in The IMAX Experience® won't have to wait long. Beginning Friday, Nov. 8, AMC is offering select IMAX® 3D showings of Marvel's THOR: THE DARK WORLD at all of its IMAX locations nationwide. Guests who see the movie in IMAX 3D at AMC Theatres will also have the opportunity to see an extended sneak peek of Marvel's CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER, which is scheduled to open April 4, 2014. In addition, tickets are still available to The Thor Marathon at AMC Theatres. On Thursday, Nov. 7 at 2:30 p.m., The Thor Marathon will feature Marvel's THOR, MARVEL'S THE AVENGERS and will culminate with Marvel's THOR: THE DARK WORLD at 8 p.m. The marathon will be available on traditional 3D screens and fans attending the event will receive a limited edition lanyard and a commemorative gift at participating locations while supplies last.
