PUBLICATION OF RESULTS AND PARTICULARS IN RESPECT OF OPUWO RURAL CONSTITUENCY BY-ELECTION: KUNENE REGIONAL COUNCIL: KUNENE REGION: ELECTORAL ACT, 2014
In terms of section 113 (1) of the Electoral Act, 2014 (Act No. 5 of 2014), I publish the results and particulars of the announcement made and transmitted to the Electoral Commission in terms of section 111 of the Act in respect of the Opuwo Rural by-election of a member of the Kunene Regional Council held on 2 July 2021, set out in the schedule as follow:
(a) Column 1 indicates the total number of votes counted in the election;
(b) Column 2 indicates the number of votes recorded for each candidate;
(c) Column 3 indicates the names of the candidates as duly nominated for the election in terms of section 80 of the Act and of the political party which nominated the candidate; and 2 Government Gazette 11 August 2021 7599
(d) Column 4 indicates the name of the candidate declared as duly elected member of the Kunene Regional Council, under section 111(2)(b) of that Act, with effect from 2 July 2021.

NOTIFICATION OF CANDIDATES, POLLING DAY AND POLLING STATIONS: BY-ELECTION FOR MEMBER OF ZAMBEZI REGIONAL COUNCIL IN RESPECT OF KATIMA MULILO URBAN CONSTITUENCY: ELECTORAL ACT, 2014
In terms of section 82(5) of the Electoral Act, 2014 (Act No. 5 of 2014), it is made known that -
(a) a poll shall take place on 25 August 2021 from 07h00 until 21h00 for the election of a member of the Zambezi Regional Council in respect of the Katima Mulilo Urban Constituency;
(b) the persons whose names, sex, voter registration numbers and residential addresses appear in Column 1 of the Schedule have, in terms of section 82(1) of that Act, been declared to be duly nominated in respect of the by-election of a member referred to in paragraph (a), with an indication of the political party by whom each candidate was nominated;
(c) polling stations and mobile polling stations, established in terms of section 89 and 89(5) of that Act respectively, have been provided in respect of the election referred to in paragraph (a) at the places mentioned in Column 2 of the Schedule; and
(d) the places and times to be visited, in terms of section 89(7) of that Act, by the mobile polling stations during the polling period must be made known by a returning officer in a manner that he or she considers fit and practicable.

NOTIFICATION OF NATIONAL VOTERS’ REGISTER: KATIMA MULILO URBAN CONSTITUENCY BY-ELECTION: ZAMBEZI REGION: ELECTORAL ACT, 2014
In terms of section 36(4)(a) of the Electoral Act, 2014 (Act No. 5 of 2014), it is made known that the -
(a) national voters’ register in respect of Katima Mulilo Urban Constituency by-election has been completed and certified by the Chief Electoral and Referenda Officer; and
(b) copies of the national voters’ register referred to in paragraph (a) are available for inspection by the public during office hours at the -
(i) Katima Mulilo Urban Constituency Office, Katima Mulilo, Zambezi Region; and
(ii) the Head Office of the Electoral Commission of Namibia, 67-71 Van Rhijn Street, Windhoek-North, Khomas region.
