The route begins gently in woodlands alongside the Neuadd Reservoir. We will then ascend steeply onto the Graig Fan Ddu ridge to gain the summit of Corn Du (873m) then Pen y Fan (886m), the highest peak in the Brecon Beacons and where we will aim to have lunch. We will then do a steep descent followed by another uphill stretch will see us reach the summit of Cribyn (795m). Our final peak is Fan y Big (717m). From here it is downhill all the way back to the car park at around 17:00. PROTECT THE NATURE Please bare in mind there are very few toilets on the route so you may need to be prepared for a wild wee (But please don't leave anything on the peak). MEET OUR TREK LEADER DAN Dan is a science teacher from Cornwall whose passions are climbing and mountain walking. Dan loves exploring remote mountains and has been fortunate enough to organise many expeditions to areas such as the Tian Shan range in Kyrgyzstan, the Outer Hebrides in Scotland and the Anti-Atlas mountains in Morocco. Dan has been running expeditions with schools for many years. He is fully first aid trained and qualified with the Mountain Training Association as a Mountain Leader and Rock Climbing Instructor. It is strongly recommended that the following clothing is worn or carried in a bag.
