PRESS RELEASE Brembo confirms leader status of motorsport competitions in 2014 season The Italian Company triumphs in all races of Formula One and MotoGP World Championships Stezzano, Italy, December 2014 – Brembo, world leader in technology and production of brake systems and high performance automotive components, confirms again its technological supremacy through a string of great successes in competitive motorsport competitions during 2014 season. The Italian Company has achieved ‘en plein’ in Formula One, triumphing in all 19 races of World Championship, thanks to 16 victories reached by Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team, winner of Constructors World Championship, and 3 victories obtained by Red Bull Racing team. In detail, 11 are the successes achieved by Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team), winner of Drivers World Championship, 5 the ones reached by Nico Rosberg (Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team) and 3 are Daniel Ricciardo’s victories (Red Bull Racing). Involved in Formula One since 1975, Brembo has reached a total of 20 World Championship Drivers’ titles and 25 World Championship Constructors’ titles divided in this way: 14 with Scuderia Ferrari, 4 with Red Bull Racing, 3 with McLaren Honda, 2 with Benetton Renault, 1 with Brawn GP and 1 with Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team. Whether it’s on two or four wheels, Ducati Corse MotoGP racers and CUPRA ambassadors Andrea Dovizioso and Jorge Lorenzo are motoring enthusiasts and didn’t hesitate in exchanging vehicles for a day. The challenge: take the CUPRA TCR for a drive following the instructions of CUPRA team racer Pepe Oriola and brand ambassador Jordi Gené. - From handlebars to steering wheel: “You want the same thing whether you’re driving a car or riding a motorcycle – when you’re on the track you want to be the fastest. The difference is that the car makes you feel safer; it gives you more stability”, says Andrea Dovizioso as he walks over to the CUPRA TCR on the track of the Castellolí circuit. Jorge Lorenzo adds: “When riders make the switch to four wheels it doesn’t take us long to gather pace and pick up speed”. With the same enthusiasm, they both put on their helmet and start the engine to check the engine response – in just 5.2 seconds the CUPRA TCR reaches 100 km/h. -

DUCATI PANIGALE V4 The 2020 version of the Panigale V4 boosts performance even further and takes track riding to the next level for amateurs and pros alike. A series of refinements make for an easier, more user-friendly, less fatiguing ride while simultaneously making the bike faster not just on individual laps but over entire timed sessions. Ducati and Ducati Corse engineers have crunched the feedback/data numbers from customers all over the world and Superbike World Championship events. Their analysis has led to a series of aerodynamic, chassis, electronic control and Ride by Wire mapping changes: designed to increase stability and turn-in speed, these changes make it easier to close corners and ensure riders enjoy more confident throttle control. The Panigale V4 is now equipped with content taken from the V4 R. For example, the aerodynamic package provides enhanced airflow protection and improves overall vehicle stability, enhancing confidence. The Front Frame, instead, modifies stiffness to give better front-end 'feel' at extreme lean angles. What's more, the bike includes DTC and DQS up/down EVO 2 strategies. Thanks to a new 'predictive' control strategy, Ducati Traction Control (DTC) EVO 2 significantly improves out-of-the-corner power control; Ducati Quick Shift up/down (DQS) EVO 2, instead, shortens up-shift times, allowing sportier high-rev gear shifts (over 10,000 rpm) and boosting shift stability during aggressive acceleration and cornering. To hone bike balance throughout the ride, changes to the suspension set-up have focused on redefining suspension stiffness, center of gravity height and chain force angle. -
M1ller Wins 4 Ktm!
2014-03-24 13:09 CET M1LLER WINS 4 KTM! Jack Miller who had a front row start swooped to the front at the start of the race shadowed by Spaniard Alex Marquez. The two riders then settled down to swap the lead back and forth and at one point had a 3.5 second lead on the rest of the pack. Miller who before then race had pledged to be patient and go for the maximum points, played his hand well. Going into the final corners the Australian was perfectly placed to capitalize on a small mistake by rival Marquez. Marquez went wide in the corner, Miller quickly grabbed the advantage and went on to take line honors and pick up maximum points in the opening round. Immediately after the race, an excited Miller said he had gone all out in the final lap. “It was pretty scary going into the final lap because the tires were more worn than I expected them to be. But I just gave it my all. We couldn't have asked for anything better. It was a really good first race. Its a great way to start the season, but its that. Its the start. We still have a long way to go and I still have a lot to learn." Miller’s teammate Karel Hanika, who won his berth in the factory team after taking victory in the 2013 Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup rode a solid race from nineteenth position on the grid to finish in fourteenth place to pick up his first world championship points in his debut race. -

I colpi si scena nella gara in Portogallo. Valentino cade al 15° giro Si abbassa la visiera, i semafori si spengo e si parte nel Autodromo Internacional do Algarve. Ottima partenza di Quartararo, che li darà il punto di vincere questa gara. Ottima anche la prestazione di Bagnaia, che passa dall’11° al 2° posto. Morbidelli si trova al quarto posto. Questa gara però, era pieni di colpi di scena. Il primo è stato il ritorno di Marc Marquez sulla sua Honda, arrivato settimo. Infatti, a fine gara lui e il suo team scoppiano in un pianto di gioia, regalandoci una bellissima immagine. In questa gara ci sono state tante cadute come nel caso di Rossi, Zarco, Rins, Miller e Pol Espargarò. Il rapporto tra Rossi e la sua moto sta declinando sempre di più. I vincitori della MotoGP sono Quartararo, Bagniaia e Mir. Per Moto2 il vincitore è Fernandez, invece per Moto3 è Acosta. Ecco tutte le news della prima gara del Motomondiale in Qatar Il 28 marzo si è tenuta la prima gara del Motomondialie in Qatar, nel circuito di Losail. I semafori si spengono e inizia la gara. Molti piloti hanno avuto delle difficoltà alla partenza a causa dell’asfalto del circuito e dal vento, che trasportava sabbia. Infatti, Bagnaia era partito forte, anche troppo, dalla pole. Anche Rossi, ha sofferto la partenza. Bagnaia rimarrà nella prima posizione per alcuni giri, fino a quando non ha retto la gomma e dal sorpasso di Vinales. I vincitori della gara sono lo spagnolo Maverick Vignales, con la sua Yamaha ufficiale, e poi le due Ducati di Francesco Bagnaia e Johan Zarco. -
