WORK Universal Music Sept 2009 — Present EXPERIENCE Marketing Manager Create and implement marketing strategies for a variety of major Australian and international artists including Jay Z, Kanye West, Of Monsters and Men, Jack Johnson, Mariah Carey, Jessie J, Frank Ocean. Manage marketing budgets of all sizes, and oversee the creation of advertising collateral for TV, online, radio, mobile, outdoor, print and retail advertising. Responsible for the digital strategy for each artist's release to drive hype and fan engagement. Pending the artist, this can include creating the artist's social media strategy, managing digital street team activity, managing artist databases and newsletters, creating unique D2C offerings, or designing socially driven viral campaigns. Foster relationships with a variety of external stakeholders including international label contacts, artist managers, retail and media partners, tour promoters, ticketing agencies plus creative, digital and media agencies. Execute album launches or artist related events.

Custodian of each artist's brand with any third party branding and sponsorship activity.

Create and pitch retail campaigns and sales initiatives with traditional and non- traditional retail, third party partners, and Universal Music's own e-commerce team to drive revenue.

Universal Music Australia May 2007 — September 2009 National Digital Promotions Manager Managed the digital publicity for all Universal Music artists including Lady Gaga, Powderfinger, The Presets and Taylor Swift.

Devised content-driven marketing strategies with the use of our artist's content (ie: exclusive video, audio, other online content opportunities) across all media outlets. Maintained relationships with online media partners including Ninemsn, News.com.au, Fairfax Digital, MySpace and music blogs to ensure publicity of our key artists. Managed all artist requests from online media partners.

Curated engaging promotional ideas to pitch to media such as online chats and interactive video clips to secure profiling of artists across a range of sites. Created revenue opportunities with online media and retail sites, such as Roses Only and Lastminute.com

Austereo May 2006 — November 2006 Client Marketing Manager

Developed trade marketing initiatives to raise the profile of 's two stations ( and SAFM) via presentations, client entertainment and other tactics to existing and potential clients as well as trade media. Oversaw all digital sales enquiries, including client brief response, client presentations, staff training, research and execution of campaigns. Helmed the brand management of Triple M and SAFM across all forms of client correspondence, trade marketing, client entertainment/events Managed local Triple M Football (AFL) sponsorships, worth up to $700,000 to the business, including proposals, sponsorship delivery, client management, client hospitality and budgets.

Triple M (Austereo Adelaide) October 2005 — May 2006 Client Promotions Manager Created promotional and marketing campaigns for clients both pro-actively and in response to specific client briefs.

Negotiated with Triple M’s Promotions and Programming teams to create opportunities for client integration and sponsorship in order to raise non-traditional revenue whilst maintaining the Triple M brand.

Supervised all sales sponsorships of Triple M programming, including Triple M Football (AFL) sponsorships, as well as other sponsored station benchmarks (eg: show sponsorship, traffic reports, countdowns and competitions).

Organise Triple M’s client entertainment and corporate hospitality.

SAFM (Austereo Adelaide) May 2005 — October 2005 SAFM Promotions Manager Devising and executed a wide range of promotional and marketing tactics for SAFM in line with Programming goals and objectives. These promotions included major station promotions, station events, cross promotions, concert presents, and stunts.

Event management including liaising with clients & stakeholders, staff management, site checks, on-air talent management, legals and budgets.

Worked with SAFM’s programming team to produce compelling and interactive station marketing and promotional tactics in line with the station’s branding.

Supervise the SAFM Promotions team of 10.
