18 3 The Second Station: Plenary Jesus Carries His Cross (All kneel) Leader: To obtain the graces of a plenary indulgence we pray Leader: We adore You, now for the intentions and wellbeing of our Holy Father. 16 5 The Fourth Station: The Thirteenth Jesus Meets Station: His Mother Jesus is Taken from the Cross Leader: We adore You, O Christ, and we bless You. Reader/Leader: Can you imagine how sad Mary feels watch- Reader/Leader: Mary waits below the cross to take her Son ing her beloved son being treated so cruelly? Her heart is bro- into her arms. She holds Him close, just as she held Him in the ken by his suffering just as your mother’s heart aches for you cold, dark stable of Bethlehem. What sorrow she must be when you are sick or unhappy. 6 15 The Twelfth Station: The Fifth Station: Jesus Dies on the Cross The Cyrenean Helps Jesus

Reader/Leader: After three hours of suffering, Jesus dies on Reader/Leader: The soldiers force to help the Cross. Picture that moment in your mind. The world Jesus carry His Cross. 8 13 The Tenth Station: Jesus is Stripped The Seventh Station: of his Garments Jesus Falls the Second Time Leader: We adore You, O Christ, and we bless You. Reader/Leader: By now the sight of Jesus is so sad that just Reader/Leader: Again Jesus falls. His journey is almost over. looking at Him makes people burst into tears. Jesus tells them He is so tired, He can hardly get up. What a great love Jesus not to cry for Him. He tells them to cry for God’s children who has for all of us. (Pause) are suffering.(Pause)
