Hosting international students is a really rewarding experience. It’s been “ great to see them settle into our family life, try food such as fish and chips, roast dinners and toad-in-the-hole (okay, this meal took some convincing!) and generally grow more confident in speaking English. Our younger boy has been fascinated by the new person in his midst and has even tried his hand at learning to count in Chinese. Options include many subjects such as sports, fitness, volunteering and photography.
