PHONE: (972) 562-2601 Kenneth D. Adams September 5, 1936 - April 4, 2021 Kenneth D. Adams of Allen, Texas passed away on April 4, 2021 at the age of 84. He was born on September 5, 1936 to Robert Joseph Adams and Annie Lee (Asbury) Adams in Rosebud, Texas. Kenneth proudly served his country in the U.S. Army Reserves. He married Sandra Hawks Owen on March 19, 1982 in Dallas, Texas. Kenneth was an assistant treasurer for Foxworth-Galbraith Lumber Company. He was a member of the Life Point Church in Plano, Texas. Kenneth is survived by his wife, Sandra Owen Adams of Allen, Texas; son, David Adams and wife, Kim of Malakoff, Texas; step-children, Gerry Owen and wife, Melissa of Garland, Texas, Mike Owen and wife, Sharon of Garland, Texas and Darlene Chesnutt of Mesquite, Texas; grandchildren, Connor Adams of Nacogdoches, Texas, Cason Adams of Houston, Texas, Nick Owen and wife, Candy of Lancaster, Texas, Andrew Owen and wife, Avery of Joshua, Texas, Jacob Owen of Garland, Texas, Dalton Chesnutt of Mesquite, Texas and Alex Owen of California. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Annie Adams; brothers, Buster Adams, Robert Adams and Dan Adams. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Life Point Church Plano: Stephen Ministry. Memorials Sandra, I was so sad to hear that Kenneth Donald had passed. He will really be missed. I admired the way he was able to guide and help us with our care receivers. He asked great questions and offers wise advice. His authentic interest in people made spending time him a joy. May faith, family and friends bring comfort and many wonderful memories of Kenneth. JOAN KIS, MAY 17, 2021 Kenneth, you are a fine man, and you were an excellent leader in our Stephen Ministry at LifePoint Church. You were always kind to everyone and rock-solid in your faith. Every time I saw you and Sandra, the two of you made me smile. Kenneth, we miss you every time we think of you, and all of us treasure our memories of you. I look forward to shaking your hand again in heaven one day.
