west coast music Midnight Special Please find attached the Midnight Special song list for your review. SPECIAL DANCES for Weddings: Please note that we will need your special dance requests, (I.E. First Dance, Father/Daughter Dance, Mother/Son Dance etc) FOUR WEEKS in advance prior to your event so that we can confirm that the band will be able to perform the song(s) and that we are able to locate sheet music. In some cases where sheet music is not available or an arrangement for the full band is need- ed, this gives us the time needed to properly prepare the music and learn the material. Clients are not obligated to send in a list of general song requests. Many of our clients ask that the band just react to whatever their guests are responding to on the dance floor. Our clients that do provide us with song requests do so in varying degrees. Most clients give us a handful of songs they want played and avoided. Recently, we’ve noticed in increase in cli- ents customizing what the band plays and doesn’t play with very specific detail. If you de- sire the highest degree of control (allowing the band to only play within the margin of songs requested), we ask for a minimum of 100 requests. We want you to keep in mind that the band is quite good at reading the room and choosing songs that best connect with your guests. The more specific/selective you are, know that there is greater chance of losing certain song medleys, mashups, or newly released material the band has.

Crowd Swoons for Neil Diamond Tribute
PRESS RELEASE – February 16, 2017 CROWD SWOONS FOR NEIL DIAMOND TRIBUTE There was another sellout crowd at the Historic Hemet Theatre on Saturday night. This time they were there to hear Dean Colley and Hot August Night perform a dazzling tribute to Neil Diamond. Dean Colley's look-alike and sound-alike performance has earned him rave reviews across the county -- and the Hemet audience definitely agreed with that assessment, cheering and singing to each classic hit from the extensive career of the man nicknamed the "Jewish Elvis." The auditorium was filled with sweethearts celebrating an early Valentine's Day, filling the dance floor in each other's arms. At intermission, over $400 was raised for the Building Fund with a raffle drawing featuring a basket of wine and glasses from Golden Era Productions, a gift certificate and Ramona Bowl memorabilia from the Ramona Foundation, champagne and flutes from Joann Morello, and chocolates and a Disney raffle ticket from the Assistance League of Hemacinto. The concert was the second in the 2017 "Tribute Mania" concert series that is helping bring the Historic Hemet Theatre back to life. After three years in operation, the Foundation is making a profit and raising funds to completing the purchase of the building. Meanwhile, tickets for the next concert, a tribute to The Eagles featuring Desperado on Saturday March 4th are already half gone. This will be the third time this band has appeared at HHT -- selling out the house each time. Other upcoming concerts include: Tribute to Creedence Clearwater Revival, featuring Fortunate Son on Saturday March 18th; Tribute to The Beatles with Britain's Finest on Saturday April 8th; Tribute to The Rolling Stones featuring The Ultimate Stones on Saturday April 29th; and Tribute to The Doobie Brothers by Doobie, Inc.

vampire weekend album download Vampire Weekend start '2021' with new 40:42 EP featuring two new reinterpretations of their song. For their new 40:42 EP released Thursday, the Grammy-winning band commissioned acclaimed jazz saxophonist Sam Gendel and the Connecticut rock quintet Goose to both create their own reinterpretations of the Father of the Bride album track. One twist though: Vampire Weekend gave Gendel and Goose the directive to turn their one minute and thirty-nine second long song into two twenty minute and twenty-one second versions (hence the title 40:42 ). In addition to fans being able to hear the two unique interpretations, Gendel and Goose both came with their own visuals. While Gendel's jazzy take comes with some improvisational animation, Goose chose to film themselves performing an intimate, up-close take on the song.
