Saturday Afternoon Session Cafeteria LSC Summit Sessions Led by Indiana Swimming Athlete Reps and Mentors Indiana Swimming Athlete Reps will be supported by our LSC Coaches Rep Alec Haley and Megan Oesting who both took part in the first USA Swimming Athlete Leadership Summit as mentors in this part of the program. Additionally, current college athletes will be invited to participate on a panel discussion by sharing their perspective in the values and styles they learned from their club and now college programs. Specifically, athletes who participate in the John Wooden Emerging Leaders program at Purdue University will be asked to participate. 1:00 – 2:30pm Leadership Style & Values Cafeteria 2:45-4:00pm LSC Governance Cafeteria 2:45-4:00pm Jay Chambers (Parent Presentation) Supporting the long-term development of your LGI athlete

James Leath is a mental performance coach and the founder of Unleash the Athlete. With a bachelor’s in communication, a masters in Performance Psychology, and almost 20 years of coaching experience, James teaches leadership, character, and mental residency to elite performers in sport, theater, and business through keynotes, workshops, and online courses. He has worked for companies like USA Swimming, IMG Academy, and the Dallas Cowboys. He is currently a mental performance coach for the Chicago Bulls organization and splits his time between Dallas and Chicago.

Coach Jay Chambers is a Manager of Performance Development for USA Swimming with 41 years of coaching experience at the Club, High School and NCAA D I levels. He has coached in Ohio at the Athens Swim Club and Ohio University, but most of his 41 years of experience were in Indiana. There he coached at the Athletic Club, Tippecanoe Swim Team & Harrison HS, Zionsville HS, Carmel Swim Club & Carmel HS, Heritage Christian HS, Washington Township Swim Club, and Fishers Area Swimming Tigers/Fishers HS, where he coached numerous National Champions and Record holders. Jay holds a master’s degree in physical education from Ohio University.

2020 NCAA DIVISION I MEN’S SWIMMING & DIVING CHAMPIONSHIPS March 25 – 28

The Indiana Sports Corporation is bringing the Men’s Division I Swimming & Diving Championships to Indianapolis this spring. Indiana Swimming athletes and teams will want to be in the stands at the Nat to witness the world’s fastest swimming competition while cheering on our own home-grown collegiate athletes. Team ticket packages of 10 or more tickets are available only to USA Swimming registered clubs at the reduced rates of $5 for prelims and $8 for finals when using the code INSWIM. You won’t want to miss this thrilling team competition as the most accomplished men’s collegiate swimming and diving programs in the country battle it out to be crowned the 2020 NCAA National Champion! 2020 TYR PRO SWIM SERIES May 6 – 9

USA Swimming’s Tyr Pro Swim Series will return to Indianapolis I and the Indiana University Natatorium at IUPUI in early May. This will be the final stop of the 2019-2020 Tyr Pro Series before the 2020 U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Swimming kick off in Omaha in June. Elite swimmers from around the country will be in Indy competing in one of the world’s fastest pools in preparation for Trials. Athletes currently expected to attend are Olympians , , and along with National Team stars , , and Carson Foster. Indiana Swimming is offering special design-your-own ticket packages for USA Swimming member clubs at a Team Sponsorship rate of $300 per club. This sponsorship includes unlimited tickets for your preferred sessions as well as club recognition on the scoreboard, sponsor board, and volunteer t-shirts at the event. Indiana Swimming is excited to bring USA Swimming’s first combined U.S. Open & Speedo Junior National Championships to Indy in August of 2020. Qualifying times, meet schedule, and hotel block information are all available at usaswimming.org. Indiana Swimming will be again be offering $300 Team Sponsorship packages to USA Swimming member clubs. This sponsorship includes unlimited tickets to your preferred session(s) and recognition for your club on the scoreboard, sponsor board, and volunteer t-shirts at the event.
