Asakura died in 1964, but the building was opened to the public as a Asakura Sculpture Museum since 1967 by the family of the deceased (transferred to Taito-ku in 1986), in 2001 the building is registered in the tangible cultural heritage of the country. Service to Be Temporarily Suspended Twice Between Shibuya and Omote
16-73 September 13, 2016 Due to track bypass construction at Shibuya Station on Ginza Line Service to be temporarily suspended twice between Shibuya and Omote-sando and between Aoyama- itchome and Tameike-sanno on the Ginza Line ・First suspension: All day during two-day period between Saturday, November 5 and Sunday, November 6, 2016 ・Second suspension: All day during two-day period between Saturday, November 19 and Sunday, November 20, 2016 Due to track bypass construction to accompany the relocation of Shibuya Station on the Ginza Line, Tokyo Metro (Head Office in: Taito Ward, Tokyo; President: Yoshimitsu Oku) will temporarily suspend service twice between Shibuya and Omote-sando and between Aoyama-itchome and Tameike-sanno on the Ginza Line all day during the following four days in total: the two-day period between Saturday, November 5 and Sunday, November 6, 2016 and the two-day period between Saturday, November 19 and Sunday, November 20, 2016. On the aforementioned days of construction, shuttle trains will be in service between Omote-sando and Aoyama-itchome and between Tameike-sanno and Asakusa. Moreover, the transfer of passenger ticket or train pass holders for the routes to undergo construction will be facilitated with the use of Tokyo Metro lines, Toei Subway lines, JR lines, and private railway lines. We apologize for the considerable inconvenience to users of the Ginza Line that this construction will cause. Your understanding and cooperation would be appreciated.
