It starts with a Midtown tour that includes , , and . We’ll also be going to Top of the Rock, the 70th floor indoor/outdoor observation deck above Rockefeller Center. We make a stop at Radio City Music Hall where we’ll take a backstage tour. This iconic theater has a rich long history, beautiful architecture, and we’ll also meet a Rockette! The Millennium is our home for the next three nights. This 4-star modern hotel is located in Times Square, close to everything. Dinner tonight is a short stroll from the hotel at the famous Carmine’s! A lively and fun Italian restaurant serving delicious fare family-style. It’s the perfect way to get to know your fellow travelers ~ and no one will leave hungry! (D) TUESDAY, MAY 21, 2019 After breakfast at our hotel, we’ll meet our local guide and board the coach for more sightseeing in Midtown . Always a treat, at a rehearsal studio in the Theater District, you will have time to meet with an actor from one of the current shows. They will give you an up-close view into what life for a Broadway actor is like and perform a number or two! Talking about treats, High Tea at the ’s Palm Court has been a classic tradition for decades. Bask in the luxurious elegance while dining on delicious sandwiches and treats. Afterwards, the best way to see is with a carriage ride in though the park. Like in so many movies, books, and TV programs, your horse, buggy, and Hansom cabbie slowly guide you past New Yorkers strolling, jogging, and biking in the park. The rest of the day is free for you to shop, relax, and catch a bite to eat on-your-own. (B, High Tea) WEDNESDAY, MAY 22, 2019 Once again we enjoy breakfast at our hotel before continuing our exploration of the city that doesn’t sleep! On our agenda today is Lower Manhattan, including Little Italy, Greenwich Village, Chinatown, the World Trade Center, and the Lower Eastside. We’ll have time at the National 9/11 Memorial for reflection, and our guide will walk us around the area describing the renaissance of the area from before, during, and after 9/11. Then we’ll spend time in the National 9/11 Museum. This afternoon we’ll enjoy a food tour that includes SoHo Little Italy, Chinatown, and the Lower Eastside. Pizza, pickles, pretzels, desserts, and more! You’ll not be hungry! Tonight, we’ll enjoy a wonderful dinner together before heading to our Orchestra seating for a Broadway show. (B, Food Tour, D) THURSDAY, MAY 23, 2019 Today we bid farewell to NYC but not before breakfast at our hotel and a short trip to hop on the Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island Ferry! From the decks of the ferry we’ll have the very best up-close views of the Lady in the Harbor. At Ellis Island, we’ll discover the moving stories of the many immigrants who came here to pursue a better life. Then we’re on our way home with wonderful memories.
