Compliance was assessed at all sites against the quality criterion for each determinand relevant to the River Water Quality Objective (RQO) of that site. The criterion are shown in Table 1. A dashed line in the schedule indicates no samples failed to comply. This report should be read in conjunction with Water Quality Technical note FWS/93/005, entitled: River Water Quality 1991, Classification by Determinand? where for each site the classification for each individual determinand is given, together with relevant statistics. The results are grouped in catchments for easy reference, commencing with the most south easterly catchments in the region and progressing sequentially around the coast to the most north easterly catchment.     SID RY E T W N A U L K O C 3 Distance: approx. 3¼ miles (5 km). Allow about 2½ hours for this circular walk. Surfaces: Mostly on lanes, with some footpaths across fields. Sturdy waterproof footwear is advised. Gradients: Some challenging hills. Obstacles: Four stiles (dogs must be carried over the stiles, so the route is suitable only for small dogs).All dogs should be under close control. There are 2617 households within the parish which has a population of 6095 (figures supplied by Caradon District Council). Much of this beautiful parish is within the Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) which covers the Tamar, Tavy, Lynher Rivers and the surrounding countryside - Calstock village is also designated as a conservation area and Gunnislake is recommended to be one.
