Key Characteristics of the Change: Product Design

Forecasted Key Milestones: Date Customer Must be Ready to Receive Post-Conversion Material: May 27, 2011 Date of First Availability of Post-Conversion Material: May 27, 2011

The date of "First Availability of Post-Conversion Material" is the projected date that a customer may expect to receive the Post-Conversion Materials. This date is determined by the projected depletion of inventory at the time of the PCN publication. The depletion of inventory may be impacted by fluctuating supply and demand, therefore, although customers should be prepared to receive the Post-Converted Materials on this date, Intel will continue to ship and customers may continue to receive the pre-converted materials until the inventory has been depleted.

Description of Change to the Customer:

Reason for Revision: Add new manufacturing Site Code

1. During year 2012 product development a new substrate design provided improved noise immunity on the C-Link interface. To provide ongoing quality improvements Intel is implementing similar design to existing year 2011 products.

2. Update to Intel tracking number in 2D barcode for new manufacturing site.

Customer Impact of Change and Recommended Action: Customer will receive product with the following changes:

1. Update MAC Substrate on Intel® Centrino® Wireless-N 1030 product. 2. Product and Distribution labels will include additional site code of WZ.

Intel will attempt to deplete pre-conversion material before shipping post-conversion material but there is a possibility of Intel shipping mixed inventory. Therefore, customers will need to manage and migrate to the post-conversion material as soon as possible.
