Brief Summary According to DLHS 4 (2012-13) the institutional delivery in Thrissur district is 100%, but out of this 71.8% of delivery is conducting in the private hospitals and only 28.2 deliveries only take cared by the government hospitals. Central and state governments are spending stacks of money to improve the facilities in the government hospitals and thereby increase the utilization of government hospitals. Increase in the delivery of pregnancy in the government hospitals is just 5% from the DLHS 3 report. Institutional deliveries in the government hospitals can reduce the out of pocket money of the beneficiaries. The study aim to understand the perception of beneficiaries towards private hospitals regarding reproductive services. Approach the private hospitals in Thrissur where got the permission to carry out the study. Collect the last 3 year delivery status from these hospitals and analyze the data to know the progression of the private hospitals demand regarding reproductive services. Interview the beneficiaries those who are seeking reproductive services from the hospitals, 25-30 beneficiaries will be recruited.
