SOURCES OF INFORMATION Data contained in this report were culled from the CPES Summary Report submitted by the *Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC), Department of Science and Technology (DOST), National Irrigation Administration (NIA), National Housing Authority (NHA), Philippine Ports Authority (PPA), Pasig River Rehabilitation Commission (PRRC), Bases Conversion Development Authority (BCDA), Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP), Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) and Philippine Tourism Authority (PTA) covering the period January 1, 2006 – December 30, 2008 As regards to data on negative slippage, this is when constructor got 0.00 on time for 15% or more negative slippage, this matter may be brought about by any of the three (3) problems: a) Constructor-Related Problems, Agency-Related Problems; and Other Related Problems. Please see the enumerated problems on each classification on page 6 of this cover page. If you need particular information on the reason for the negative slippage of each concerned contractor, please contact the agency implementing the project. During Construction (60% for Horizontal Projects such as Road, Bridge, Ports & Harbor, Irrigation and Flood Control, Water Supply and Sewerage, etc., and 70% for Vertical Projects such as Housing, Building, Power Transmission Line and Substation) - minimum of two (2) visits with the conduct of first visit when the actual project accomplishment is at least 30% except for projects with a duration of 90 calendar days and below which may be subjected to just one (1) final visit. 2. Upon Completion (40% for Horizontal Projects and 30% for Vertical Projects) - final visit when the Implementing Office reported 100% completion. II.
